Li Xueyi's Rage

*************

CHAPTER 7

No sooner had he asked that question than the girl in question took a step out, trembling on her feet as she pried her quivering lips open to speak.

"H-H… here I-I am, sir," she managed to let out without stuttering so much.

No one told her that doing his friends a favour would yield so many repercussions. They asked her to shut down the water supply to his room, the electricity and the likes.

If not for her doing all of that, he would have been able to remain in his room and not take advantage of a drugged virgin.

'Urgh!' the sheer thought coming to his mind was brain teasing for him and he wished not to remember him being vile and not careful enough when he attempted to have sex with her.

Regardless, he wore his stoic expression proudly on his face.

"Hmm. The others, you may… No, stay and listen." He averted his gaze back to her, keeping her rooted on the spot with the deathly glare.

"Who ordered you to drug me and leave my room in such a mess?"

No answer came forth. Rather a more shaken girl was all he saw. "I asked you a damn question!" he yelled at her. "Just who told you to do all of those things?"

Quickly she got down on her knees and uttered correctively. "Sir, I never drugged you. All I did was obey."

"Not the answer I wish to know. Who told you to do that and how dare you even think of obeying such a plan?!" He thundered on her once more.

Everyone present, both male and female felt like the ground should open for them to disappear in it rather than remain here and witness this.

"Are you daft or what? If you do not want me to draft out a punishment for you, you had better speak up."

At the same time, the glass doors slid open, revealing a dashing young man wearing a dark blue tuxedo and branded designer shoes.

Quickly, the men that had walked in with Liu Xueyi bowed before him and then lifted their heads.

If there was anyone who could save these employees now, it was probably him.

She looked to the side when she saw someone walking over to them. As soon as she laid her eyes on him, her eyes widened and hope came alive in them.

Liu Xueyi who had been watching her, narrowed his eyes at her when he saw her expression and ultimately, trailed his gaze towards the line of her sight to see the culprit.

Arching a brow up, his eyes rolled a bit at the newcomer as he uttered, "Xu Fang."

The coldness in his eyes dimmed a little bit but its effect was still grand enough to keep one in check.

"Hey, Xueyi."

A bright smile formed on his lips, pulling his cheeks up a bit and causing wrinkles to form at the side of his eyes.

He was equally gorgeous but his always smiling face, had a way of putting even the most troubled hearts at ease.

"What are you doing here?" Liu Xueyi inquired.

"Umm, nothing much. And you?" He raised his brows at his friend expectantly.

He had got a call this morning from the hotel staff when they heard that Mr Liu Xueyi, the young master of the Liu Family was coming over.

Without being told, he knew why his friend was going there and he knew how angry he was.

To spare the poor staff from an angry Liu Xueyi, he rushed there. Luckily, he was just in time before the almighty CEO of the Liu business ate someone.

"Settling things."

Even though he could have guessed his friends may have a hand in it, he could not deny the fact that there were many out there looking for him to hurt him.

And worse, he knew that he might have been drugged by her and based on someone else's orders and then since they were equally drunk, his friends did not take him home and lodged him there.

To him, that would make sense as to why she went to turn off the light and water in his room. They wished to either hurt him in his sleep or set him up.

"Hmm, is that why this pretty little soul is kneeling before you as though she is about to be slaughtered?"

"What is it to you?" Liu Xueyi attacked, turning to face his friend squarely.

"Everything, because she did you no wrong."

His eyes dimmed a fraction at Xu Fang. His friend was naughty and slippery. He needed to be careful to outsmart him and let him fall into his trap.

"What do you know?"

"All there is to know and because I was the one who instructed her to do so."

"What!"

Xu Fang noticed the change in his friend's facial expression and knew that there wasn't perfect for this bit knowing Liu Xueyi, he could unleash his wrath anywhere.

"It was all on me. So, if there is anyone you want to punish, then take it out on me and leave the staff alone."

A proud smirk registered on Li Xueyi's face as a sinister thought came to mind.

"Hey what is that look on your face for?"

"Something treasurable." Without uttering a word, he cast one last glance at the girl kneeling and then turned around. "Come with me, Xu Fang."

"W-Where are we going?"

"Your punishment awaits."

Xu Fang gulped loudly when he heard that. And about the same time, Liu Xueyi walked away, leaving them alone.

His smile widened as he waved at the hotel staff. "Please raise your head and my apologies for causing you all so much trouble today."

"No need sir, thank you so much," the man at the side, quickly responded, lowering his head even more.

"Also, do not sack the young girl. She was only following my orders."

"Thank you, sir," they voiced out in unison, bringing more smiles to Xu Fang's face.

"I better go now. My punishment awaits."
