Goliath

The second group of the expedition are composed of Hephaestus and Goibniu Familia which are mainly blacksmiths and supporters whereas the first group are higher level adventurers of Loki Familia to secure and ensure their safety while venturing the dungeon.

David and a few adventurers are the vanguards of the second group that are mostly level 2 and 3.

Finn, Riveria, and Gareth are also there to manage the expedition from behind.

They're already on floor 15 after a few hours of delving in the dungeon, with the help of the first group there are only a few monsters left for them to deal with.

"What's the weird contraption used by that young girl? I have never seen something like that, and it doesn't seem to use her mind."

Riveria was intrigued by the weapon used by the blue haired member of Goibniu Familia.

They barely need help, especially with their tank receiving all the attacks with ease.

"I only heard that her name is Jinx, I tried to ask more about her but with her crazed looks there's no one would like to go and talk to her."

Raul Nord a level 4 member of Loki Familia replied helplessly.

"While she might look like randomly attacking everywhere, her attacks are accurately shredding the part where the monster core is, killing it efficiently."

Without a pause she killed 4 Hellhounds in an instant.

"What power, by the way I've talked with the young blond there, her name is Luxanna Crownguard or what her companion called her as Lux, those two samurai are Yasou and Yone, while that spear user is Xin Zhao and their tank is Braum.

"We haven't seen the rest of them fight, but we can assume that they're quite a skilled fighter."

"We can see their skill later at the lower floors anyway it seems Ains and the rest are already waiting by the Great Wall of Sorrow."

"It's fine we have more time thanks to them, we will reach the Under Resort before the day end, but it would still depend on how long their fight against the Goliath would take."

Finn smiled at them, their goddess had told them that Goibniu protégé asked to fight the Goliath themselves, while it may not be impossible to fight it at lower level, they must have decent strength to defeat it but with difficulties.

"Let's just hope Ain's didn't kill it already."

"Yes, but please be careful or else Riveria sama would scold us."

Ais Wallenstein was silently sulking after being reprimanded by Lefiya Viridis that is panicking after seeing Ains reaction.

"Haha, you sound like Mama every day Lefiya, you even make Ains sad."

In panic Lefiya is waving her hands around to apologize to Ains, but she doesn't know how.

"Haha you're so cute Lefiya."

"Don't tease her any more Tiona or else she will cry."

Tione Hiryute tried to talk with her twin but stopped after seeing Lefiya's cute reaction.

"I wonder why would Finn told us to leave the Goliath alone, even Lefiya here can bombard the Goliath to smithereens if she want."

Ains eye shined after hearing Tiona's suggestions but stopped after seeing Tione burning eyes.

"Did you just question Finn's decision Tiona?"

"Haha no, I'm just wondering why."

Tiona tried to appease Tione's anger, she knows that she wouldn't forgive anyone who go against her crush especially now that he is with them.

"Tsk, I heard it is just a bunch of weaklings from Goibniu Familia, I don't know why but our goddess accepted to give the Goliath to them."

Bete Loga a level 6 werewolf rudely replied, he hates how someone outside their Familia would steal his prey especially those who are weaker than him.

"Goibniu Familia? I didn't know that they have anyone that can fight the Goliath, have you heard anything about it Tione?"

"None, but god Goibniu's protégé recently leveled up, so I guess it should be her."

"What a pampered brat, she's so spoiled by her god that she believed that she can play around even in the dungeon, don't ask for my help if something happened."

The group just looks at Bete weirdly, they know that if something happens he would be the first one to help.

"Tsk"

He just turns his head in annoyance, after a while his ears moved after hearing a multitude of footsteps closing them.

"It seems they've arrived, it's only been an hour since we got there."

"Caaaptaaainn!"

Tione dashes after seeing Finn leaving a trail of dust and smoke in her wake.

"Wind"

"Huh?"

Lefiya asked after hearing Ains mutter something.

"Wind, the wind is following him."

Ains eye became focused at the man behind a very beautiful woman, Lefiya even forgot about what Ains are talking about after seeing her.

"Ains, Tiona, Lefiya, Bete good job for securing the path, I hope you didn't kill the Goliath Ains."

Finn greeted them while ignoring the amazonian beside him.

"Ains want to dive in earlier but thankfully Lil mama is here. Eek."

Tiona shrink back after seeing Riveria stare at her, she didn't really like how everyone called her Mama, even their goddess is calling her that name.

"By the way, this is David, the protégé of god Goibnui, she would manage the fight between their group and Goliath."

David nod his head in acknowledgment, everyone is staring at him like he was a pet in a zoo, that it has been uncomfortable all the way, thankfully his clones are here, so he can just zone out."

"It's my pleasure to meet most of the higher executives of the Loki Familia, I hope that we aren't a burden after asking for this fight, but it would be a great experience for us to do this, especially that we even have the best Familia in the Orario to learn from and secure our back, so I'm very thankful for this."

With her respectful attitude, their slight annoyance about the issue was dissolved especially how sincere she was, and of course, her beauty almost captured them even Riveria looks away again.

"Cough* Yes of course David you can count on us if something happens, just fought with all your heart and leave the rest to us. Good luck and I hope you all succeed."

David bowed again before walking towards the Great Wall of Sorrow, followed by 6 Goibniu members to help her.

"Do you think that they would win"

Lefiya asks in worry, she can't help but be mesmerized at the young woman's grace and confidence, even she a level 4 adventure would be scared of fighting the Goliath with that number.

"Yes they will win"

Ains beside her answered in certainty, walking towards the room with an increasing pace of step.
