ZOE smiled while watching Runa sleep peacefully on the bed.
She was holding a mug of hot chocolate in her hands because the child asked for one earlier. Luckily, the young princess could digest drinks even at night when her appetite as a ghoul was "active."
Since she couldn't entrust the young princess's meal yet to anyone on the estate, she made the hot chocolate herself.
"Princess Runa tried to resist her drowsiness, but she lost in the end," Dal, who she left in the bedroom to keep an eye on the young princess, said with a soft smile on her face. "Her Royal Highness must have been full since she told me she ate a lot earlier."
She smiled and nodded as confirmation.
"It's a relief that Runa loves my cooking, even though I just added an egg and some garnish to her ghoul tartare," Zoe said softly. "Since she's just half-ghoul, her stomach doesn't get upset, even if we mixed other ingredients to her meal."
