Chapter 8 Qin Luoyun_1

Old Master Qin and Lady Qin suspected that their Susu would cry and miss them upon entering kindergarten, but she didn't think of them in the slightest, let alone shed tears.

When the teacher escorted Susu through the door, it was free activity time for the children.

The teacher introduced Susu to the students, "Kids, quiet down, please. This is our new classmate, Qin Susu. Let's give her a round of applause to welcome her!"

The children all clapped their hands together.

Then the teacher took Susu to familiarize herself with the kindergarten environment.

After getting familiar with the place, the teacher let Susu go off to play with the other children on her own.

A girl slightly older than Susu took the initiative to approach her.

"Hello, my name is Qin Luoyun, and like you, my last name is Qin. I am very happy to meet you," she said.

Qin Luoyun grinned and introduced herself, showing her friendliness with a smile.

The children attending this kindergarten were mostly from wealthy families nearby.

There were also a few who didn't live nearby, but were admitted due to various connections.

Her grandfather was Old Master Qin's younger brother. It was because of Old Master Qin's influence that she was able to attend this aristocratic kindergarten.

Her tuition was also helped out by the Qin family.

"Mm, hello," Susu responded.

"It's your first day here today, would you like me to show you around and play with you?" Qin Luoyun offered Susu.

"Sure," Susu had no objections.

It was always right to get to know the environment first.

Qin Luoyun took Susu's hand and led her to play with building blocks.

After thinking for a bit, Qin Luoyun took off the hair clip from her head and handed it to Susu saying, "I'll give you my hair clip, and you give me yours. We can exchange gifts and become good friends, how about that?"

This tactic was taught by Qin Luoyun's parents and she repeated it whenever a new child came.

Kids exchanging gifts usually wouldn't elicit comments from parents.

They would just think they are being friendly.

Most of the children in this kindergarten came from very well-off families, allowing Qin Luoyun to trade small items worth a few yuan for valuable things worth thousands.

Qin Luoyun had thus gotten many nice things before without raising suspicion or complaints.

Susu glanced at Qin Luoyun's hair clip and declined, "I like my own things, I don't want to exchange."

Susu was always decisive in rejecting things she didn't like.

Liking meant liking and disliking meant disliking; Susu wouldn't compromise just to please others.

Qin Luoyun whispered in an attempt to explain, "Don't you want to be friends with me? My mom said that good friends should exchange little gifts, or could it be that you don't like me?"

By the end, Qin Luoyun displayed an expression of hurt feelings.

That trick was quite effective.

Qin Luoyun knew she was pretty, and her aggrieved face was particularly pitiable to others.
