Failure

Two years after the antivirus was established. The humans who were once infected were denied the chance to live among the living like before. For the antivirus failed to make them whole.

The zombies who were turned into humans again became zombies after five days. All hope was lost as the norms had to stay barricaded from them.

Most of Jessica's friends were turned into zombies, except for Jake and Max, who escaped to the safe side.

Barricaded from the undead, the living began their life in their new world.

Jake got some menial jobs that involved no skills at all. After everything that happened in the past, he just wanted to live a simple life.

Max, on the other hand, joined the army in the fight against zombies that tried to get into the new city meant for the living.

This was what he wanted. To protect the living from the undead.

"Fire away!", a soldier roared out from a watch tower, located at the entrance of the main gate.
