Assumptions Leading To Fatality

Holding the optimistic view in his mind, Chunhee intensely watched as Yujin made the fire larger and larger, enough to create what seemed to be a wave that engulfed the twigs and leaves they had both gathered earlier.

The two of them then used the massive leaves they had picked up, each containing a massive flame as they carried them both high in the air and waved them profusely while looking at the lighthouse. 

"Would they really see us? What if there are no people from that lighthouse after all?" Chunhee mumbled to himself after every shouting of the words 'help' and 'there are people over here' to the air.

The sun was still up so perhaps, they could also do the same at night. That was if they could still survive until then.

Chunhee glanced over at his side where a man stood.

Right. They would truly survive.
