Behind You

Chunhee, Minjoon, and Daehyun all looked at the origin of the voice.

Standing a few meters away from them was none other than Hwang Jichen.

Daehyun's eyebrows twitched. "You…"

Chuckling, Hwang Jichen began to walk and playfully said, "What? Don't I get to have a congratulatory greeting too?" 

"Congratulations."

Hwang Jichen's smile froze in the air, his legs halting as his eyes fell to the person who uttered the word. 

Chunhee seemed to take a deep breath as he faced Hwang Jichen, repeating his words simply and directly, "Congratulations. From now on... let's not waste this chance and give our best. Let's do our roles well."

For the first time since he met Hwang Jichen, Chunhee looked directly into Hwang Jichen's eyes, silently telling the other man that he meant his words in other ways as well.
