Chapter 31: Virtual Fight!

"What are you going to do?"Gwen is a little stunned when Ryan suddenly bans her from his lab.

"Nothing major, but I need to focus during the time. If you're there, all I can think about is your lips, so you can't go there for a while." Ryan said seriously while getting some kisses.

She is a little happy that Ryan admitted she could seduce him with a gesture. In her heart" Well, I do know about it, so not too surprised".

She also knows that this indicates he is doing something important." You're not going to do anything illegal are you? " Gwen asked while hugging him.

"A little bit, but it's nothing to worry about." he answered honestly. "Make sure you won't get caught." Gwen smiles helplessly after she says that.

Looking at Ryan's determined face, she knows that she couldn't change his mind. She also trusts him to not do anything bad.

Illegal maybe from the side of the law, but if he does it to help people, Gwen wouldn't care. It is astounding how the daughter of a police captain would have a mindset like that.

They parted reluctantly, Gwen is going to her parent house, and Ryan is going to the lab."Hey" Ryan caught her hand.

"What is it?"

"Why don't we make it official. You, moving in with me?"

Her eyes widened. Right now she has her own apartment, and comes to stay here sometimes. When they become older, they have less time together. Studies and work, there are days they can't meet one another.

" Yes! "Gwen said excitedly." Okay, all your stuff will be here when you get back. So, you don't have to pack by yourself"

Ryan already prepared for this. Albus has notified Hiddle, in which a team of mover is already at Gwen's house 5 minutes after she said yes.

The quest he's going to finish today is

4- ZemoLover: Break into Shield secure channel, you need to be able to get the highest authority in shield so that all information will be available to you.

Reward : 15 random pokemon.

5- HydraHater: Break into Hydra head secure channel. Put a backdoor on Zola, so you could get all the names of Hydra agents.

Reward : Random yellow grade martial art.

He has no idea what the yellow grade is for the martial artist. The quester hadn't been online, so he couldn't ask them. He didn't care about the reward for this. He is looking for an easy quest to do instead.

Both quests are focused on hacking. While he has ALBUS to help him, he is still worried as ALBUS is at JARVIS level now. SHIELD surely will be notified if he breaks into them.

And Zola is at Ultrons level. He finds a loophole in the quest as it never said that he couldn't hire a helper. He got an idea to rent a helper from a more advanced civilization.

Today is the day of the trade as planned. He checked out the rent function. After searching for a while, he decided on a helper.

It is an artificial life evolved from an artificial intelligence programme. His creator is a well respected Virtual Mechanic in his universe. The AI named Philip is now online in the Marvel Universe!

Ryan saw a projection of Philip in the device he got after renting it. He looks like a boy and is wearing oversized clothes.

After he connected the device to his computer and transferred Philip, the device disappeared. Seeing that the AI is ready, he greets it.

"Hello Philip, I hope you can help me" Ryan has high expectations for the AI. "Hopefully he's advanced enough for me to complete the quest.", he thought in his heart.

Philip heard that and said '' Of course. You hired me to help you. I don't think it's just for companionship. Please note that I don't swing that way!"

Ryan is a little stunned when he hears Philip talk, the creator must be a mad man he thought.

"Are you gonna blank out all day? It's your money so you can waste all the time you want", Philip said sarcastically.

The creator programmed him to help other transmigrators as efficiently as possible, so he wants to be of help as soon as he can. He's maybe a little mean on the outside, but he is sweet on the inside.

Ryan pulls himself together and then explains to Philip what he's going to do.

"I have put a micro drone that can start to plug in the transmitter for Zola. The channel of Triskelion building is available through the Web. You're gonna help me in doing that".

*Praps* He cracks his finger getting ready for battle. But, before he could explain his approach to the AI, Philip said, "Done! You want to get the highest authority right?"

He sees the notification and the system on his screen. "Level 11 authority?". Philip explains "There's only level 10 there, so I create a new one for you."

Seeing that Ryan is stunned again, Philip said angrily "Could you stop doing that! Don't waste any time!" Ryan checks his watch, it's not even a minute and Philip already finishes the first quest.

"You are awesome, Philip!" Ryan complimented excitedly. He really doesn't expect his helper capabilities to be so high. That is why Philip costs 25,000 tc/day.

Philip is secretly glad he got compliments. It's only a few years since he became an artificial life, so his mentality is still childlike.

*Ding* Ryan heard the sound of the quest being completed in his mind. "Too easy, this is too easy!!!".

But now he's gonna fight with Zola. Zola is being disconnected from the Internet, the only way to access him is through Camp Lehigh.

He had to wait for a few months to sneak into the base following a Hydra member. Breaking into Hydra's secure channel is easy, but he figures he has to fight Zola first to avoid getting wary.

"Listen, in fighting Zola, I have something I want to do." Ryan smiles wickedly and tells his plan to Philip. "That's pretty bad," Philip said.

"But you like the plan, don't you?" Ryan saw through Philip who is also smiling evilly. The not in the right head duo is going to make some trouble.

Zola POV

"Fear. I never thought I was gonna feel that emotion again. " his defenses are being penetrated like paper, his core program are being ripped apart.

"Who are you? I WILL BE LOYAL TO YOU! YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE POWER THAT HYDRA HAS IN THE WORLD!!" Zola tried begging as a last resort.

The final part of his core program is being dismantled. "Noooooo!!!!!!" he screams his last words. This the pathetic end of Zola, who thinks he escaped death by transferring his consciousness to the computer.

Ryan POV

"It's done, now you can control Zola however you want." Philip said. He took over an hour to fight Zola. He never thought that humans can actually become a machine here with this level of technology.

"The technology is primitive. Not even the top of a primitive civilization. There must be some mystery in this universe or something else that is making it happen."

Ryan's plan is actually not to destroy Zola, but to destroy his human aspect. Now Zola is just a program, and it's loyal to him.

When checked, the insight program calculation is being made, so with the help of Philip, he changes it into a Hydra killing program instead.

On the surface it'll look like there's nothing wrong as it shows that it'll kill Hydra's enemy, and make Hydra the controller of the world. But as soon as the air carrier is in the air, it'll be the end of Hydra.

All of this took less than 2 hours. Ryan then heard the notification when he broke through the Hydra secure channel. "What should we do next?" Philip asks. He's done warming up, now he wants something real to do.

"Actually that's it. I'm done." Ryan said embarrassingly. Philip is dissatisfied with Ryan's lack of planning. "Are you sure? You really want to waste your money?"

With Philips help, he makes an upgrade for ALBUS core programs. According to Philip, there's a few ants on the Internet, such as ALBUS and JARVIS.

ALBUS is now comparable to a lizard, thanks to Philip. The company and his server defense is also upgraded in preparation for Ultron. "This beats my plan to just pull the plug before Stark makes that crazy AI."

There's also the power suit that he gets, Philip is responsible to make calculations according to the compression technology knowledge. It was Philip who recommended some knowledge necessary to Ryan.

He says that it's basic knowledge to become a mechanic in the universe. Philips optimization has made his R&D capabilities explode leaps and bounds.

"Listen carefully, your knowledge should be more stable. Don't just blindly buy it." Philip is a little angry about the wasteful spending.

It is then transferred into the Island base, where the elf body is responsible for the construction there.

The elf body got berated by Philip for his clumsy technique, in which Ryan has to fork out more than 1,000,000 tc to fix the island. "Is this really worth it?" Few days later, he notices what he had done.

Now the island has completely disappeared from the world while the network is still connected. "Give me a break, it's only the second month I started building the island."

"You want to create new programs for the island right? Just do it now. I'll help." Philip also helped upgrade Red Queen, the AI for the island.

Red Queen is created with a core program bought from the trading site, Ryan's coding, and lastly Philips upgrade and optimization. She also became another lizard .

Ryan didn't sleep for 24 hours, to make sure that he uses all his time efficiently. On the same day, before the trading site is closed, he rents a quantum transmitter that can transmit a signal 10 lightyears away.

It's only 2000 tc/day. Philip said if he had this transmitter, he could break into any spaceship in diameter. And he did find several spaceships. "Their technology is ordinary, a bit low actually. Do you want it?"

There are also spaceships on earth belonging to the Skrulls. He did get some spaceship technology from them, but he still wants to wait for the quest reward from the cyclop.

When 24 hours are done, Ryan terminates the contract , as there is nothing else to do. He tears up a bit while saying goodbye to Philip."He was such a good boy."

"My master wants me to tell you this, if you're a transmigrator. Be kind to your friend, and ruthless to your enemy. May you never need me again!" Philips is now offline.

Its image fades aways from his computer, so does its program. It's like he's never there.

He'll check out his harvest later." My knowledge is now leaps and bounds compared to before. Especially the compression technology. "

There's a lot of interesting information he gets from Shields and Hydra's server. Apparently 'Ryan Knight' is a 3rd level threat and Shield monitoring progress is 'ongoing'. When he checks, it's by the order of Nick Fury." It couldn't be helped as Nick got a persecution complex."

All his data is about what they are going to do when Ryan turns on the world. What's his weakness they can exploit, behaviour assessments, psychological assessment and so on.

Ryan chuckles dryly, and a little angry. Gwen is listed as his weakness. There's a plan to subdue Gwen, her habits, places she frequents, and more.

"Sure enough, I expected this. But when it comes true, I really… REALLY.. want to retaliate." He controls himself from the impulsive.

He swore that if they make a move, Shield will disappear completely from the world. "No need to wait till Captain America does it."

His bloodlust eases up when he come out of the room and sees Gwen is drinking tea while reading a book. "Hey, are you done? Did you win?"
