They left the city gate and walked a few minutes to get to the forest.

"We'll be leaving from this point." The bandits' hideout is 30 miles away; they've built a base and are hiding inside a mountain. If we go at full speed, we can get there in 3 hours," Duke Grey told the group.

He didn't want anything to go wrong on this raid. His main goal was to get the stolen treasure back from the bandits.

Everyone in the group nodded and began walking toward the bandits' hideout. Along the way, many monsters attacked but were instantly killed by the group of cultivators, while stronger beasts were killed by Duke Grey's soldiers.

The group didn't stop to rest. Instead, they kept going. After walking at full speed for three hours, the group finally reached a certain mountain.

"Stop..." Duke Grey made a stop sign and spoke quietly enough for everyone to hear. "We've found the robber's hideout," he said, pointing in a certain direction.

The bandits' hideout was nestled deep in the rugged peaks of the mountain range, hidden from the prying eyes of the outside world. The only way to reach the hideout was through a narrow and treacherous path that wound its way up the steep mountainside.

The entrance to the hideout was a crude wooden door that was built into the side of a cliff. From a distance, it was nearly impossible to see the door because of the thick vines and moss that had grown over it. Only those who knew of its existence could find it.

If Duke Grey hadn't drawn everyone's attention to the door, nobody would have noticed it was there.

"So what are we going to do now?" One of the cultivators in the group asked, This cultivator's cultivation level is good at the Qi Gathering 8th Stage, making him one of the strongest people in the group.

"Of course, we're going to attack them." Duke Grey replied confidently, "We have the element of surprise on our side, and with our combined strength, we can take them down."

"My troops and I will take care of the bandit leader. Your job is to kill all the followers."

Before Duke Grey could finish his sentence, a knife came flying at him and just missed hitting him in the face. The group quickly got their weapons out and got ready for a surprise attack.

When a large group of bandits came out of the bushes, ready to fight, the group quickly realized that they weren't the only ones who were surprised.

"Damn it!" Duke Grey cursed loudly.

"Split up quickly and attack!" Duke Grey quickly ordered his troops to split up and engage in battle, while he and a few others went after the bandit leader.

Alex, who was still at the back of the group, also started to fight, but he didn't pull out his sword at first. One thief came at him with a spear. Alex quickly moved out of the way of the spear and punched the bandit in the face.

"Bang"

"Ah!!"

The bandit had no time to respond to the situation. Alex's speed was something to which he was unable to react. As a result, he was quickly thrown out, and when he landed on another tree, his entire spine cracked.

It was an easy victory for Alex over his enemy. However, Alex's momentary victory was cut short when another thief came at him from behind. This time, Alex was not prepared. Alex spun around and grabbed the arm of the thug, twisting it until the thug dropped the weapon he was holding.

Alex brought the thief down to the ground with a swift kick to the stomach, at which point he was able to retrieve his katana.

After retrieving his katana, Alex didn't waste any time before swinging the blade with accuracy, slicing through the air, and separating the thief's head from the rest of his body. The body took a few steps backward before falling to the ground.

After Alex cut the bandit's head, the other bandits looked at their friend's severed head and attacked Alex right away. They seemed used to this kind of scene. This time, two bandits attacked Alex at the same time. Alex fought back, and even though both bandits were in the Body Refinement Realm, he didn't feel overwhelmed when fighting them.

"Maybe I should look for a Qi Gathering Realm cultivator." Alex thought as he blocked a bandit attack. Now, the Body Refinement cultivator doesn't give him much experience, and they aren't strong enough to fight Alex. "Yes, let's find cultivators who are at the Qi Gathering Realm," Alex decided.

He knew that fighting with Body Refinement cultivators would not help him much in terms of gaining experience, as they were not strong enough to challenge him. Therefore, he made up his mind to search for Qi Gathering Level Cultivators who could provide him with a more challenging fight and help him improve his skills and more Exp.
