No Memories

[IF YOU'RE WANDERING HOW THE MC LOOKS, THEN JUST LOOK AT THE FRONT COVER AFTER READING CHAPTER 5, I based the MC off of a image I found online.]

Bright light shone around me as my eyes slowly opened. Confusion showed in my eyes as I looked around.

(Where am I, wait who am I?) I wondered.

Tall green trees surrounded me as a white clouds flew past high in the sky. The smell of roses tickled my nose as I looked at my surroundings. Confusion swept across my face as my thoughts centered around why I couldn't remember anything about who I was.

Carefully, I lifted my arm to push myself off the ground before freezing as something slithered around my leg. Fear almost kept me from looking to see what was slithering around my leg, but I forced myself to look down, ignoring the fear. I expected to see a snake, but what curled around my leg was no snake, but a black scaly tail with a spear-like point at the end. The sunlight sparkles off every scale, sending dazzling colors through the air. It was like there was a tiny Galaxy forming In front of my eyes and swirling around me. And only one thought flitted through my mind, replacing all others.

(BEAUTIFUL) My curious green eyes, unnoticed to me, narrow. I feel my pupils dilate, but don't realize that they completely change shape and color.

The color of my eyes change from a beautiful but unusual snow-white to a glamorous emerald green. Instead of staying circular pupils, they form into cat-like slits as catlike curiosity takes the place of confusion. My eyes travel up from the tip of the tail, following it up towards the base while wondering what kind of creature could hold such a beautiful tail.

As my eyes crawl up my tail and curiosity takes over my brain, the once black scales start to change color turning into ripples of orange and pink that go all the way from the tip to the beginning and back. Surprise quickly goes over my face once again and in that same moment the scales stop their orange and pink rippling and start turning yellow. Ignoring this, my eyes start once again traveling up from the tip of the tail as the curiosity once again comes back. Finally, my eyes meet the base of the tail as surprise almost makes me jump as realization travels through my brain. The tail quickly turns yellow as my screaming thoughts travel through my brain, almost giving me a headache.

(The tail isn't attached to any animal, but to me.)

The thought travels through my brain for a second or so as I slightly sit up and slide my finger down the scales of my beautiful tail.

(And it seems to change colors when my emotions get out of control) I thought to myself.

I slowly try to calm down my surprised and racing heart as my scales finally turn back to their original color, which seems to be a kind of dark green with a bit of tiny blue dots mixed in. As I slowly trail my finger down my beautiful scales, a cute feminine giggle works its way out of my mouth at the ticklish sensation.

As I was trailing my finger across my tail I felt a tingling sensation come from the tip of my finger as a claw just like one you would see on a cat suddenly popped out from beneath my finger nail, making my head jerk back in surprise and my tail turn once again yellow. Suddenly, the sound of a twig cracking came from nearby making my whole body jump up only to quickly fall back down as something attached to my back forced my body off balance. I turn my head to my far right to see what caused me to fall off balance as my eyes widen in surprise once more. Wings! Giant black feathered wings are attached to my back. Unfortunately, I have no time to admire the beauty of them because a roar came from behind me which sounded way too close for comfort. Before I could process what was happening, my body quickly got up and instinct took over.

My legs bunched up, my wings folded around my stomach bending to a supernatural degree, my tail curled up around my waist as it changed colors from a dark green to a bleach white as I launched myself to the nearest tree and up to its first branch. Not stopping, I quickly launched myself to the next outstretched branch across from me and started hopping from tree to tree as fast as I could to get away from the scary ass roars and whatever was making them.

The roars never seemed to get farther away, in fact, it just seemed to keep getting closer. I kept jumping from tree to tree as fast as I could. Suddenly, the tree branch that I was about to jump off of broke. As my mind tried to figure out what the heck just happened, my body stopped momentarily in the air and then started falling. The instincts of my body once again took over as my wings unfolded from my sides before, and I started to glide.

But instincts only get you so far without proper training, immediately after I started to glide my rational mind took over and apparently bringing with it a sudden fear of heights. As fear took hold, my sudden gliding turned into a terrifying downward spiral. Screams tore through the air and then suddenly stopped as a loud thump sounded, sending large vibrations through the ground and leaving a large-sized Imprint in the ground..... My eyes slowly opened as. Confusion shown across my face, and then fear as the memories from before surfaced. My body jerked up, sending something small and fluffy off my chest.

My head swiveled around looking to see if the creature with the scary roars was around me

(Where is it) I thought. Turning my head left and right I suddenly stopped in fear as that monstrous roar once again made an appearance but this time the sound came from right In front of me. My head slowly turned left, expecting something that would make me fear death while trembling in fearfully.

But what my eyes landed on completely made my mind go blank. (A.....fox?, The fuck, how did a fox make that kind of sound.)

I didn't know how I knew this was a fox, but I just did. It was like my mind remembered all the common sense of the world, but took away my personal life. But of course, it wasn't just its species that left me surprised by its big roar, oh no that's not it at all, it's its size. The fox was quite literally the same size of a freaking tree frog, this is of course without counting its fluffy tail.

But as I was thinking this, the fox did something that made my mind completely go haywire. In a small and squeaky voice that was unimaginably cute and seemed to move at the speed of light, the fox spoke.

"Hey lady, were you scared, oooo I know you were scared, you ran away from me, yaaaay I'm scary, hey are you listening?"

But I wasn't listening, after all, how could I? My brain was telling me that this shouldn't be possible and yet, it was. In front of me was a real life talking rabbit, and not only does it talk, but it roars, WHERE THE FUCK DID ANYONE EVER HERE OF A FOX ROARING.

Not to mention its size, like come on, this thing is barely bigger than my thumb. As my mind continued to try to get over the fact that there was a talking fox right in front of me, a fuzzy paw swept across my check followed by a sharp pain. My eyes quickly gained focus as I looked at the little fox with a bit of irritation. My tail swept side to side, showing that I did not like that one bit.

"Hey lady, stop ignoring me, I was talking to you, and you were just, like, looking at that tree and… what's with the scary smile?"

Umm, lady you're alright right, n n no hard f feelings". The fox gave his best winning smile as I continued to look at him while a plan was slowly forming in my mind.

"Oh, don't worry, no hard feelings at all", suddenly, my hand came out of nowhere grabbing the foxe's fluffy tail right as it was getting ready to run.

"HEEEEELP" the fox screamed. "Stranger danger, stranger danger."
