After midnight, Alona returned to her room while Lily and Ryan were still in front of the fireplace. The two enjoyed wine while talking about Lily's journey until she finally arrived in England. Lily also tells what Sigmund told her about the relationship between humans and vampires.

"Why don't you talk about this when Alona is here?" Ryan asked.

Lily shook her head. "Alona would be surprised if she found out about it. I think you can talk more about it than Alona. You know, women often get carried away."

"So you need someone's point of view who doesn't get carried away easily?" Ryan asked Lily again.

Lily nodded her head. "What do you think?"

Ryan fiddled with his wine glass. He twirled the glass and inhaled the aroma of the wine. After that, he looked at Lily.

"If you want me to be honest, I want you to leave Matthew if the situation gets to you," Ryan said.

Lily chuckled softly. "I thought you would say that."
