[Quincy Archer Hates You Arc] Part 33: ROCKIN' FUTURE

# Next Day - Karakura High School, Principal's Office #

Despite all of yesterday's mess, Ichigo had managed to purify the Hollow and make Don Kanonji reevaluate on how he was "exorcising" the Hollows.

Unfortunately, the little show that Ichigo put on before assuming the form of a shinigami ended up being recorded by the cameras of the place… which brings me to the place where I am now…

Kagine: "I can't believe it!! Do you have any idea what you guys did!!?" - shouted the physical education teacher.

At this very moment I was being scolded along with Ichigo, Rukia, Chad, Tatsuki, Inoue, Keigo and Mizuiro.

Kagine: "Take a look at this!!" -He shouted while pointing to a TV he had in the director's room.

On the screen it showed the moment when the security guards were immobilizing Ichigo.

Kagine: "This is a picture that aired on national television from a live broadcast of a TV show filmed in our town yesterday!!"

Misato: "On national television? Oh my…"-Said the teacher as she looked at the TV without showing much concern.

Cheshire: 'She doesn't seem so angry...'

Yato: 'Yep...'

Kagine: "So, Kurosaki? Do you have anything to say?"

Ichigo: "The guy in the picture looks a lot like me."

Kagine: "It's because it's you!!!"

I looked back at the tv for a few seconds and then looked towards Ichigo.

Yato: "The angle of that image with the security guards on top of you didn't do you any favours, Ichigo."

Kagine: "You did much worse than him, Yasakani!!! You assaulted a security guard!!! I expected this inappropriate behavior from these two!!" - He pointed to Ichigo and Chad.

Cheshire: 'He's kind of right on that one.'

Yato: "Hum…. true. Please continue." - I said casually finding the whole situation quite funny.

Tatsuki: "Kagine-sensei."

Kagine: "What is it, Arisawa?"

Tatsuki: "I understand that you called us here because Kurosaki-kun, Kuchiki-san and Yasakani-kun appeared on TV but I don't think there's any reason why you called Inoue-san and me."

As the teacher turned his attention to Tatsuki, who was leaving with Inoue, I approached Rukia and spoke as quietly as possible.

Yato: "Apparently, if we improvise any excuse, we'll get rid of him…"

Rukia: "I had an idea…" - She said while grabbing a tissue.

When the teacher was threatening Keigo and the others, Rukia started to pretend to cry while I stood behind her with my hands on her shoulders. I was pretending to comfort her as she started her act.

Rukia: "I'm sorry…all this happened because Yasakani-kun and I couldn't stop Kurosaki-kun…"

At that moment, everyone stopped to look at Rukia… and it took of me a lot of self-control not to start laughing.

Rukia: "At that moment… the two of us were closer to Kurosaki-kun and then…"-She made a dramatic pause without finishing what she was going to say.

Yato: "And when I saw that she even tried to raise her voice, which is not like her, I tried to get Kurosaki-san's attention…but in the middle of that mess I saw someone holding her…so I went protect her..."

At that moment, Rukia turned and buried her face in my chest, still pretending to cry.

Rukia: "And to think that Yasakani-kun is in trouble for defending my honor…"

After that my urge to laugh increased and I hugged Rukia and lowered my head, wanting to hide my face.

Kagine: "Oh… uhh!! Don't cry, Kuchiki! Calm down! It's okay, you two didn't do anything wrong! It's all Kurosaki's fault, right?"

Yato: "Yes…it was all Kurosaki-san's fault…" - I spoke in a low voice.

While the teacher wasn't looking, Ichigo, Chad, Keigo and Mizuiro were discreetly passing through the classroom window to escape. When the professor noticed their movement, he tried to run to stop them.

Kagine: "Hey!!! Don't run!!! Do you have any idea what will happen if you run away!!! I'll suspend you all!!!"

While the teacher was yelling at them, Rukia and I left the principal's office without him noticing.

Yato: "Look…I don't see much point in evading punishment when everyone is going back to school the next day…but I have to admit it was funny." - I commented smiling

Rukia: "Oh my …and to think you had to break rules to have fun…it seems you're not that innocent, Yasakani-kun~"

Yato: "Look who's talking."

A few minutes later we rejoined the rest of the staff.

Keigo: "Ah man, we got a safe escape! It's all thanks to Yato and Kuchiki-san!"

Rukia: "Oh dear…I didn't do much."

Ichigo: "Don't flatter them, you idiot. They were about to blame it all on us."

Tatsuki: "But thanks to their acting, you also managed to escape."

I went back to being silent as I let them talk. I took a good look at everyone and saw that despite the situation, they were having a good time. When I looked back at Tatsuki I noticed that she had dark circles under her eyes…signs of having slept poorly…but they were so dark it looked like she hadn't slept in days.

Yato: 'Strange…could it be that it was already like that and I just noticed now…?'
