Side Story 24: The Tower That Pierces The Heavens

After eating some lunch, Laplace was given permission by Ein to get some help from YMD Laplus. She was given the surname Yamada so she won't get confused with Laplace.

"Hmmm, my kin. So you want something majestic as your abode?" Laplus nodded in understanding, a pretty sweet crib was necessary to flex on the false gods and mortals here.

"Umu, I was thinking of a tower. And that tower in the middle of the city looks tacky. It looks like a shitty rocket ship." Laplace hissed and she needs a better tower. It might be good on the inside, but the outside appearance wasn't to her liking.

"I see, then I have already created an infinite number of blueprints for your needs. I'll send it to you now." Laplus touched her forehead and Laplace started sifting through the plans.

"Thanks Laplus! I just saw the perfect one already. It is both majestic, powerful, and appropriate for the setting." Laplace patted her head and Laplus purred.

"Hehehe, of course I am awesome. Ahhh! I'm not a kid! Gunununu." Laplus glared at her and the brilliant engineer laughed her ass off.

"Sorry, sorry. Here, this is for your troubles." Laplace gave her a kid's meal set that she absolutely loves. Especially the one with the Hamburg and omurice one.

"Humu, you are forgiven. Bye~ let me know when you have finished creating it." Laplus waved goodbye and went back to the imaginary tree.

"Yosh, this is gonna need tons of time. Maybe some help from dad is necessary?" Laplace went to Ein so she could create the structure she chose.

"Hey dad, can you stop time? For I don't know, a couple of weeks here?" Laplace scratched her cheek a bit in embarrassment. As she would need tons of time, even centuries to make the building if she and her sisters did it by the rules there. Even with the help of every single person in Orario. It was that complicated.

"Hmmm? So you're gonna make a sweet crib huh? Okay then, do you need some Adamantine too?" Ein sighed and just decided to go all in.

"F-for real!? We can use Adamantine for it? It's gonna take millions of tons of it." Laplace was really excited as it would be her greatest structure ever if it was made with Adamantine.

"Well, we can't even use it all anyways if we wanted to. So knock yourself out." Ein shrugged and Laplace cheered.

"Hey guys! Dad gave us unlimited amounts of Adamantine! So every single one of you can request anything you want!" Laplace hyped up her sisters.

"For real?" Anahaat, the ever stoic one was surprised by that and she smiled widely, in a pretty good mood from the news.

"Ohhh yeah! We can have everything we want! Hot springs, training rooms, floors with guardians in it. This is the best day ever!" Musubi's gamer soul was on fire.

"Okay, okay. Settle down everyone, we will monitor you! So if you have any inappropriate things in mind. We'll whoop your asses for it." Kallen squinted her eyes at them and they just chuckled.

"Huhun! Don't underestimate us, mama Kallen! We are the paragons of good character." Alexis puffed up her chest and they all nodded.

"Anyways, please look after them for a bit okay? I'll visit Beidou, I accelerated time there. So a couple of years must have passed." Ein peaced out, he quickened time in the one piece side of the world for a bit to ripen it up. Some vanilla exploring was fine and all. But danger's where's it's at.

Ein also accelerated Linlin's growth, so she won't be a liability if the crew were ever to go to the new world again.

Linlin looked like a teen now, she also grew up and slimmed down. She is currently standing tall at 35 feet tall. She was quite into fashion too, inspired by her Captain's good sense. Opting to wear a pink themed outfit. (pic)

"Captain! I heard that Ein-nii will visit again? Will he bring some delicious food I wonder?" Linlin had a loose smile on her face as she drooled.

Ein gave her some common sense directly so she would mature. But of course she was still a foodie. Though she liked meat more than desserts, influenced by the time when she got abandoned in Elbaf and Ein fed her some barbecue.

"Hah, all you think about is meat. Linlin, look at where all that meat went! Your boobs are bigger than me!" Beidou jumped up at the giant Linlin and started wrestling her chest.

"Hahaha! That tickles, captain! You know I can't help it, Ein-nii's meat is too delicious." Linlin said innocently. Beidou then looked at her weirdly, she then blushed a bit. A diet of sea kings and cultivator herbs gave them tons of vitality.

Beidou was a bit frustrated because of that. Especially when she sees her crew go to brothels and return with glowing faces whenever they land in a town. Even Kazuha got forced to come, he was really embarrassed at first. But it became a staple in their activities.

"Hmmm. Ein's meat huh? I bet it's really delicious Linlin." Beidou gritted her teeth a bit and shook her head, ridding herself of her lewd thoughts.

"Huh? What do you mean captain? You eat it everyday, right? You cheater, Ein-nii sends you tons of his self made food!" Linlin squinted her eyes at Beidou. Because she only shared with the foodie a little bit.

"Ugh, fine. I'll give you more next time Linlin." Beidou smiled and thought she was a really nice girl.

"Hmm, guess who is this?" Ein covered Beidou's eye that didn't have an eye patch on.

Beidou wasn't playing games though, she immediately turned around and clung to him. "You bad man, you didn't show yourself here for a week!" Beidou pouted at him.

"Haha, sorry about that. I was preoccupied, I had to make sure nothing bad will happen to Ningguang and the others." He patted her head and Beidou understood that they were fighting cataclysmic wars left and right.

"Heya, Linlin. Here, I brought you a little gift for growing up really well." Ein took out a huge ass tomahawk steak. But it was really special of course.

"A steak? But this won't be enough Ein-nii." Linlin was happy, but she was disappointed. "Heh, you have no trust in this great me? Eat it all like you mean it, you'll understand." Ein had a smug smile on his face.

Linlin nodded and ate it all in a split second. She was in heaven from the divine taste. But it was over quickly and she got sad.

"Wait? What!? Ein-nii... Is this possibly?" Linlin watched in awe as the tomahawk steak popped back into existence with its succulent meat.

"Umu, it's an infinite steak. Pretty neat right?" Ein nodded in satisfaction and Linlin hugged him tightly to her chest as Ein disappeared between her tits.

"Ah! Ein-nii, I have never doubted your greatness! This lowly one bows to you, your highness." Linlin gave some lip service and Ein's head popped out of her cleavage.

"Hmph, but you doubted me. Because of that, more training for you!" Ein grew to her size and he slapped her butt for being a little brat.

"Ugh, okay... But I still have the greatest treasure of all time!" Linlin lifted up the tomahawk steak and started eating to her heart's content. Though it won't reappear if she ate too much calories without burning them off.

Beidou looked at him with squinted eyes and was in a bit of a bad mood. "So, you give her a gift and none for me eh?" Beidou huffed.

"Of course you have one too, baby. Behold, the wondrous tuna sword!" Ein gave her a huge ass tuna and Beidou deadpanned at him.

"What? You do not trust the great tuna sword!? You heretic?" Ein was appalled and Beidou knew that he did weird shit all the time.

"Then I'll test its greatness then. Linlin, hit me with your best shot okay?" Beidou prepared to use her parry skills with the large tuna and Linlin nodded. Filled with meat energy as she concentrated.

The two of them had conqueror's haki and Linlin's will to find the best ingredients for Ein to cook is next to nothing. Bolstering her haki to ridiculous levels, not to mention their bone breaking training.

Black lightning crackled on her fist as it vibrated violently. The sea trembled and massive sea monsters steered clear of the area. Creating tsunamis with their panicked escape.

"Take this!" Linlin roared and her fist became purple that is marbled with black veins like A-5 wagyu haki.

Beidou parried the blow and redirected the tremendous force of Linlin's punch to the side of the ship. Cutting the water and parting it until the shockwave reached the bottom of the sea.

Nearby sailors felt that the god of the seas were angry. Black lightning fell from the skies and massive waves crashed against islands, ships, etc.

"What the hell is happening over there!? We're at east blue!" One new marine that had a scar on his eye shouted out.

"We're going to die is what's going to happen you idiot! Hold on tight!" His friend with an afro shouted out to the musclehead.

"Shut up! You both are idiots! Stop arguing and more surviving!" A young woman with black hair got irritated at the two men and held on for dear life. (pic)

"You shut up, Tsuru! We're at one of the four blues god damnit. This makes no sense! And even in the grand line, things like this don't just happen!" The afro man was suspicious.

"Whatever! Just try to hold on to the ship! Garp, Sengoku!" Tsuru was scared of what will happen if they went overboard with the sea so violent.

"Hahahahaha! We'll survive, I'm sure of it!" Garp laughed. But his happy go lucky behavior was suddenly cut off when the wooden rails that they held on to snapped.

"Fuuuuuuuck! This is all your fault Garrrrp!" Tsuru screamed and they were thrown overboard. They were about to accept their fate as sailors.

But the trio still held on and hoped to at least die together. Though the currents beneath were quite calm, Ein redirected those who went overboard quietly so nobody would drown. He was a man of class after all, this was his fault anyways.

"Ohhh? Garp, Tsuru, and Sengoku when they were young huh?" Ein got interested and washed them over to Beidou's ship.

The crew saw the three that was floating with exhaustion and lifted them up to the deck. "Hah, hah, thank you. Thank you so much!" Tsuru breathed heavily and thanked her lucky stars.

"Hahahaha! I told you we will survive Tsuru! Don't be so grumpy, you'll grow old quicker!" Garp laughed his ass off and she glared at him.

Meanwhile Sengoku, observed the ship they were on and noted that it was a massive ship that was made of metal.

Battleships of the navy were approximately the size of Oars Jr. And the destroyer of Beidou was twice the size of that. It was a behemoth of metal that dwarfed the ships of the Marines.

"E-excuse me, but can you please tell us who are you guys? Thanks by the way." Sengoku anxiously asked as they dressed like pirates. But he didn't see a jolly Roger.

Beidou that was in a good mood, because her tuna sword is really strong, went up to them. "Umu, I am captain Beidou! We are uhhh, Ein. What are we supposed to be called here anyways? We aren't pirates." Beidou didn't quite know and wasn't sure.

"You're just explorers Beidou. And what's your names? Sorry about that, they just had a little test and it was a bit too destructive." Ein pointed at Beidou who was holding a tuna and Linlin that had a large tomahawk steak.

The trio went silent at his implications and became quite scared. Because if that was true, then they were the strongest people they have ever known.

The three introduced themselves and Tsuru started to recognize Beidou. "Wait, the explorer Beidou that mercilessly hunts down criminals?" Tsuru was surprised and she got excited. They were becoming a legend and the newly minted marines haven't seen the disgusting nobles yet.

"That's the one!" Beidou puffed her chest and started a party. Alcohol and food quickly came, Garp didn't refuse of course. Roping in his two team mates that were a bit shy.

After everyone got drunk except Linlin, Beidou, and Ein. They retired after setting down the anchor. Ein got a message that Laplace completed their new base of operations and he was about to say goodbye to Beidou after a little lovey dovey time.

But she glared at him and pinned him down at their bed. "Ein, you know. Linlin told me your meat is the best. But I'm curious, how about this piece right over here?" Beidou groped him and Ein raised a brow.

"So you want me to attack you huh? Then prepare yourself captain Beidou. You'll have a fight of a lifetime." Ein smirked and reversed their positions.

"Ha! Bring it on!" Beidou started ripping his clothes and was breathing heavily. She was tipsy and horny, a dangerous combo for sure. So she didn't notice a large eye that was observing them.

"Ahhhh. Isn't this the birds and the bees that Ein-nii told me?" Linlin watched on with curiousity as Beidou showed expressions that she enjoyed it tremendously.

Beidou and the crew were saying goodbye to his visit. Linlin had a glint in her eyes, but she was sad that he was going to go again.

"Heh, don't be sad Linlin. I'll visit again, don't worry. And you guys keep on being there for Beidou okay?" Ein said his goodbyes to them and gave their captain a quick smooch.

"That's right Linlin, he won't be gone forever!" Beidou gave a wide smile as her face glowed. Ein then waved his hand and disappeared from view.

"Now... Tsuru, Garp, Sengoku. We'll send you back to a marine base, but how about a little deal?" Beidou looked at them with a meaningful smile.

"Ahhh, Beidou-san. What is it? We'll do anything if it isn't illegal." The trio answered as they saved their asses. Forgetting that they put them in danger in the first place.

"We need information, pirates and criminals ravage the populace and the navy can't reach out to them all the time. How about you guys inform us of places where you can't go to easily? Then they'll magically disappear." Beidou smirked and the trio gulped.

Their deal starting a friendship and partnership that would make any malicious criminal tremble in their boots.

Ein returned to Orario and saw a tower that pierced the clouds in the sky. A huge, black, metallic structure that pierced the heavens. (pic)

"Ooooh, boy. God damn, my kids are ridiculous. That's my girls." Ein shed a tear as he admired the gigantic tower that dwarfed Babel. It wasn't even comparable. Babel looked like stick besides the tower they erected.

"Dad! Like my work!? It's super cool, right?" Laplace hugged him tightly and was really excited to show it. Super thankful that he gave them an infinite supply of Adamantine.

"Of course baby, I love it! Look at it, it's the new landmark of Orario." It wasn't really prudent of them to make a tower that dwarfed everything like that. But it was cool as fuck, so it was fine.

"Huhun! We even made guards for the place, dad." Anahaat puffed up her chest in pride. She made guardians for the place and at the gates of the tower, a massive three headed dog that was chained down appeared.

Looking like an absolute unit, the dog was of course Cerberus. The guard dog of their gates. And it looked like the thing was doing pull ups its whole life. (pic)

"And the other one is roaming around the tower. Here, have a look." Anahaat whistled and a dragon came out of the tower. Landing in front of them and licking the girls carefully.

"This is Duremidura, he'll be the one that patrols the halls of the place. Isn't that right boy? Who's a good boy." Anahaat patted its head. (pic)

The dragon controlled ice and poison. Able to freeze Orario in a heartbeat or spread poison like it was rain. And it is so fierce, that it would rather put its body into overdrive and die shortly after. So it could wreak havoc, drown the world in poison and freeze it to oblivion.

"Hehe~ do you like them dad? I call the dog, king Cerberus and the Duremidura the Ice emperor dragon." Anahaat gave a proud smirk.

"Well, sure honey. But didn't you like, think of using Pikachus or pichus first? You didn't forget that elder dragons on the level of this guy can kill anything here in Orario, right?" Ein raised a brow and Anahaat got wide eyed.

"Sorry, I was just too excited and created some nice life forms to guard our new base." She sheepishly scratched her head.

"Good, at least you understand now. But it's already there, might as well you know?" Ein sighed and just let it be.

"Dad, dad! What should we call this tower then. Their little column has a name, ours has to get a cooler one!" Tora huffed, understanding that a cool name would be advertisement. Not that they needed some.

"Hmmm, how about we call it the sky corridor? Yeah, that's good. Register our base as the sky corridor okay? Now I'll resume time here, you guys better level up in the dungeon!" Ein ruffled their hair and they played around with the elder dragon and dog for a moment.

"Ouranos-sama! It's terrible! A titanic spire suddenly appeared inside Orario! And it has a huge monster right in front of its gates!" Ouranos' lackey informed him immediately.

"Yes, I can see that." The stoic god rubbed his temples after his sarcastic quip. The whole city was in chaos and mass panic started when they saw Cerberus.

"Call the top familias immediately. The Freya, Loki, Ganesha, and Hermes Familia. Something is happening, this tower will bring calamities. Or salvation, it is either of these two. And I hope it brings safety, the tower feels divine." Ouranos cannot put a finger on it. But he felt that even if all the gods and goddesses from heaven try and attack it, they won't even leave a dent on it.

The guild immediately released a statement and informed everyone that the top familias of Orario would be checking out and exploring the mysterious and intimidating tower.

It was being called the tower that pierces the heavens. A structure made by gods that have sent their displeasure to the mortals. Believing it was a dungeon, so terrible. That even the guardian of its gates cannot be defeated by the top familias.

"Yare yare daze, this tower that just appeared from nowhere is really troublesome, isn't it?" A petite goddess with light red hair was slightly annoyed and she opened her eyes. Showing her serious expression that she doesn't expose a lot. (pic)

"Loki, you finally speak some sense. But this matter is even more important than you say it is. Even in heaven, the greatest creation gods cannot make that tower. It leaks energy like a sun, the tower is a divine construct. And whoever made it, is the strongest god we could ever imagine." A white haired beautiful woman replied, wearing a hat because she has a bald spot on the top of her head right now. (Pic)

"We must take a look inside of it immediately. Or at least survey the surroundings of it, the dangers it might possess can involve the people." A tall man with an elephant mask said seriously.

"We'll try and see if there are any places or holes we can enter through. My familia will inform you guys when we find any meaningful data from the tower." A blonde man wearing a hat told them and immediately left the meeting.

"Even Hermes is acting like that. This thing isn't simple at all, we have no information whatsoever about this tower or its possible inhabitants." Loki sighed and hoped that it was just a tower or something.

"Breaking news!" The gods heard a sudden shout from a guild members and they listened intently. Because it had a high chance that it was about the tower.

"The owners of the tower are the new familias in town! The Honkai, Kaslana, Schariac, and Taixuan familias! It's called, The Sky Corridor. They've opened up their gates and is apparently having a sale of goods..." The guild official went quiet at the end because he couldn't imagine the huge tower opening up a store.

The trio of gods that were tensed up inside the room started to relax when they heard that it was the work of gods.

"Wait a minute... We don't know those gods." Ganesha spoke up and Freya flinched, Loki noticed it. But she just stared at her silently and pressured the goddess to spill out the beans.

"I... I had a run in with them. Not necessarily met them, but kind of." Freya frowned heavily and Loki was surprised that she admitted that.

"Hoh? This is a surprise Freya, I thought you would keep that information to yourself and lie. So? What happened?" Loki was curious on why Freya was telling them something about those familias.

"I was watching them from Babel... But one of their members immediately noticed me and threw a blade right at my head. It didn't hit me, but the one who threw it gestured to me that I'll be dead the next time." Freya shivered and remembered Hua's manic grin at her from kilometers away.

Ganesha and even Loki sucked up a cold breath upon hearing that. "Then that means... Whoever that person is. She could kill you from anywhere she wants to?" Loki knew it was far-fetched. But Freya will never admit weakness like that.

"Yes. And I believe that every single one of them can do that, because I managed to get a glimpse of the others in my periphery before I cut off my vision of them. Everyone didn't react, like it was a normal occurrence." Freya felt afraid, not even the Zeus or Hera familia had someone that can do that.

With just a flick of her wrist, Hua pinpointed her head enough so the blade would just hit her hair. "The inhabitants of that tower is not to be messed with. That's just one of them, how about the others?" Freya gave a frown and her hands trembled.

"Let's just see for now, Freya. Can you give us a description of the one who almost killed you? We might be able to get some info about them now. Their tower is open and only an idiot won't go to not get anything from them." Loki opened her eyes once again and would endanger her familia with this operation. But they are too unpredictable and she was too curious.

From the Loki familia. Finn, Gareth, and Riveria. The future big three of the familia, they were level 5 currently and they were standing in front of the gates of the sky corridor.

"I do not know about you guys. But that guard dog is very scary." Gareth gave a nervous chuckle and Finn who had a 6th sense for danger felt his thumb tremble from even just thinking of fighting the 3 headed dog.

Cerberus just stared at the onlookers with a lazy expression and was pretty relaxed. Though nobody dared to even make a sound when passing through the gates. Thinking that they'll make it go on a rampage and it would kill everyone.

"Hmmm. Interesting, you three are level 5 adventurers, are you not?" Cerberus spoke and his deep ass voice made their spine freeze up.

"Y-yes we are. We are from the Loki familia, can we enter?" The green haired elf was the only one who was calm enough to reply. (pic)

Cerberus stood up and the chains that held him down rattled, scaring the shit out of everyone that was curiously looking at the entrance.

He then sniffed the three of them for any signs of malice and sighed. Flames, ice, and lightning escaped from its mouths. "You are free to enter. Enjoy the shops inside of my noble masters." Cerberus then lied down again and just kept a watchful eye.

"T-thanks." Riveria pulled Gareth and Finn with shaky hands and they entered the gates. When they went through and got far away enough from the stifling aura of the guardian. They breathed heavily, unconsciously holding their breaths.

"That guy... Can kill all of us in a heartbeat. My thumb is still hurting from now. Anything we do here that is frowned upon by the owners will lead to death." Finn gave a huge frown and the other two nodded.

They then started to calm down and saw the map for the first floor of the tower. "Tora and Phyllis' shop? Vesta's allure? Aurum's music shop... Hey, is this place some kind of normal shopping district? Why the hell do they need that guard then?" Gareth cried out in outrage.

"Shut up Gareth, don't raise a ruckus here." Riveria chided him and calmly observed the shops. "How about we go there first?" Riveria pointed at a restaurant with a weird name called Homu's fabulous diner.

The trio entered the shop that was packed to the brim. Thinking that it was a really normal eatery, though it looked fancy.

"Yo! Welcome to Homu's fabulous diner!" Alexis greeted them because she was the mascot there. She was eating donuts and the trio thought the management was pretty loose.

"Umm, hello. Can we get a table?" Riveria quickly recovered. "Umu, right this way! Now read the instructions okay? We're automated here, but the food is to die for!" Alexis gave them menus and started walking around again. Observing everyone.

"The foods here are pretty expensive... But let's try, that girl told us it's good." Gareth began ordering the fried seafood platter and some spirits on the rocks.

Orario is not near a water source that could let the city experience the bounties of the sea. And as a dwarf, he knew that fried foods went well with alcohol.

Finn just ordered a kid's meal set and Riveria had a margherita pizza. After paying at a coin slot on the table. In just a few seconds, their order arrived through a hole that opened up in the middle of the table, piping hot.

"Woah, this place is cool as hell! Is this some kind of magic furniture or something?" Gareth poked the table and Riveria was intrigued.

They then tried it and of course almost died from it. Not because it was bad though, you know the drill.

"That was an experience for sure... But only people with iron like will would go here. Let's go and sight see some more. I mean, gather information." Finn saw a weapons shop and saw its signboard.

Taixuan armory. The trio went there and heard a woman argue pretty loudly. "Tsubaki Collbrande? So the Hephaestus familia has their sight on this place as well, huh. Makes sense, it is pretty close to the twilight manor and the forges of their familia." Finn concluded. (pic)

"I already told you, lady. The weapons here have to pick you. Not the other way around, besides. Aren't you pretty weaksauce? Go and craft your own weapons." Hua shooed away Tsubaki and the cyclops fumed.

"Gunununu! But I'm an adventurer! I might not be the strongest, but I'm pretty strong too! Can't I you know? Just get a sample or something?" Tsubaki looked at the weapons in display greedily.

They had an otherworldly feel to them and nothing reacted to her. She didn't recognize any metal on them with her intuition as a Smith. And she would do anything to better her craft.

"Shut up, how many times have I told you? You're starting to get annoying, kid. Makes me want to kill you and your whole familia to prove a point." Hua said dangerously as she had a glint in her eyes.

"Wait! Wait! She's very sorry, miss. We'll take her away from here. Don't worry, please forgive her transgressions!" Finn and Gareth immediately recognized the red eyed lady in the shop.

With long grey hair and wearing an oriental outfit. She was the person that could kill anyone in a heartbeat in Orario, according to Freya that is.

"Hmmm? Fine, you better return here without that attitude little girl. Or I'll murder your whole familia and feed their corpses to the pigs." Hua dematerialized her weapons that was hanging on her back and sighed.

"Hah, why am I even here in the first place? Tch, Celeste is such a goody two shoes. She loves Ein too much, I only killed like a few people or something." Hua clicked her tongue.

"Hey blonde midget. You better take care of your friend over there, I'm in a bad mood." Hua squinted her red eyes at them and they nodded immediately.

"Y-yes, ma'am... But can I know your name?" Finn tried his luck as he heard her mumbling earlier. Thinking that she was punished and she can't kill more people.

"Well, glad you asked! I am Hua, the goddess of the Taixuan familia. Now get out before you ruin my mood further." Hua shooed them away and they quickly retreated.

"Are you insane Tsubaki!? Do you want that thing outside to kill everyone in Orario!?" Finn chided the half dwarf and she finally gained her senses again.

"Ahhh, sorry... But it's because the weapons there were too mysterious." She tried reasoning and the three sighed.

"The strength of that monster outside cannot be measured by even us. What do you think will happen when it goes on a rampage? It's probably stronger than level 8 monster rexes! No, it's surely stronger. It can control ice, lightning, and fire!" Finn massaged his temples and Tsubaki gave a sheepish smile.

"Anyways, let's go." Riveria thought they have gathered a lot of information already. Especially with that dangerous goddess of the Taixuan familia. She was a unique god that descended and could still kick ass with a mortal body they thought.

"Hey! Adventurer-sans~ I've got a proposal for you." Vesta went up to them and gave a meaningful smile.

"Who are you?" Finn asked immediately as she was definitely one of the occupants of the tower.

"I'm Vesta, you see. We're level 1 adventurers of the newly minted familias here in Orario. How about a little trade, yeah?" Vesta reeled them in like a master fisherman.

Inheriting Elysia's playfulness and tendency to make schemes that helps her sisters. But with Ein's brutal efficiency.

"What is this deal about then?" Riveria was curious and Vesta smiled at them again. "Ahhh, you're here to know more about us right? Then how about I give you a nice little diagram of our familias?" Vesta cast the bait and the fish of course bit it greedily.

"But what do you want in exchange?" Finn squinted his eyes and thought it was too good to be true. But it was invaluable information that would certainly help Loki and their familia tremendously.

"Ahhh, nothing much~ Can you just show us how the dungeon works? Pretty simple no? Especially because you guys are high class adventurers." Vesta sacked them and Finn wasn't sure why they only wanted that. But he can't possibly refuse such easy pickings he thought.

"Alright, let me talk to our goddess and we'll inform you if she agrees. Maybe we should let our gods talk too?" Finn wasn't born yesterday, he also knew that her want must be beneficial for them. So he added some benefits for themselves as well. Because Loki could gather far more information than them if she talks with their gods.

"Hmmm? That's a great idea~ Then let us know later okay?" Vesta winked at them and walked away after giving the diagram. Riveria and Finn thought they definitely lost with that exchange. Even though they gained so much, but they can't put a finger on it.

Not knowing that they gave away their goddess, Loki to the hands of Ein.

At night, Finn and the other executives of the Loki familia immediately informed their goddess of Vesta's offer and she agreed to meet up with them of course.

"So this is the sky corridor huh?" Loki stared at the tower and almost sprained her neck from how goddamned tall it was, she couldn't even see the top because it got covered with clouds.

"I smell, a trickster." Cerberus sniffed the air and looked at Loki, he then went back to sleep. "Interesting, Cerberus huh? But this isn't the gates of the underworld." Loki chuckled and Riveria pinched her sides.

"Ow! Riveria-chan! Why did you pinch me?" Loki pouted at her and Riveria snorted. "You're wasting time, Loki. Come on, we need to meet up with their gods."

Loki grumbled and they entered the tower's gates. The floor lighted up and it pointed to an elevator.

And after riding it for a few seconds, they saw a pretty normal living room where girls were playing some Mario kart.

"Heh, take this blue shell you filthy glitch abuser!" Bellatrix shouted out and Kiana gave an anguished cry. "Nooo! I trained a lot to use that glitch! I can't lose here!" Her number one spot was quickly taken over and she got to the 5th spot.

"Don't underestimate me! I have been trained by mama Bronya and my father! You filthy casuals!" Celeste that was in the last place suddenly did a shortcut and used bullet bill to get to 1st place. Ending with her win as the losers got frustrated.

"What's going on?" Loki was confused and just looked on at the curious game the girls were playing at the massive tv.

"Ahh, she's here. Dad, Loki is here!" Vesta shouted out and the Loki familia were blindsided by the normal looking individuals. They thought they'd be on thrones or something.

Ein then went out and greeted them. "Ahhh, welcome. My name is Einheri, I am the god of the Honkai familia along with my wife here, Elysia."

"Hi~ I'm Elysia, we control the Honkai familia together. This is our captains, Aurum and Vesta." Elysia introduced her daughter and Eden's.

"I'm Kiana! The god of the Kaslana familia along with Kallen over here!" Kiana introduced herself enthusiastically.

"I am the god of the Schariac familia, Bianka." The blonde Kaslana with white highlights succinctly introduced herself.

"Huhun, I am Hua! Taixuan familia's god, but you already know that. The blonde chibi probably told you earlier." Hua pointed out at Finn.

Loki was at a disadvantage because she definitely does not know any single one of them. Loki only descended a couple of years ago. And she knew everyone in heaven, but they were strangers to her.

"Ahhh, Riveria-chan! There's so many beautiful girls here! Can I go and live here from now on? The tower looks cool too!" Loki fidgeted and Riveria pinched her again.

"S-sorry about that. Loki here is a bit too overzealous whenever she meets beautiful women." Riveria apologized.

"Eh, that's fine. Glad you think my daughters are beautiful. But don't have weird thoughts now. The oldest among them is only 5 years old." Ein gave a smirk and they were surprised.

While the mortals were surprised that the kids were literal children in age. But they look like they were at the prime of their lives. Loki was shocked for another reason, the girls there were 100% pure gods.

"Einheri-san, can I talk to you for a moment?" Loki opened her eyes and Finn noticed the serious atmosphere of their goddess immediately.

"Ahh, Vesta. Loki actually agreed with your request, let us talk about what you guys want in the dungeon." Finn distracted them so Loki and Ein will get some room to talk.

Ein shrugged and led Loki into another room. "So, what do you need from me, Loki?" Ein crossed his legs and Loki felt like she was going to have a troublesome life after this.

"They're your daughters with those gods earlier, right? That means they are 100% pure blooded gods. Walking around here in Orario without their divinities sealed!" Loki was a bit agitated as that would mean they could unleash their full powers without worry.

"Well, that's right." Ein just answered and sipped some tea. "What do you mean that's right? They can wreak havoc here." Loki massaged her temples and Ein smirked.

"Hmmm, don't worry about it Loki. They're adventurers right now. They won't cause trouble, much." Ein shrugged and Loki felt a headache coming.

"Here to come ask what's our purpose here in Orario?" Ein gave a smile and Loki squinted her eyes.

"Yes, you aren't a god that is from any pantheon here. Who are you and what do you want to do here?" Loki was suspicious of them and she loved her children. And their sudden appearance in Orario that is already going to shit is a threat to them.

"Simple, I'm here with the same purpose as you. Have some mighty fine fun and take care of the kids. Only difference is, they're my real children." Ein hit her where it hurt and Loki got a little sad.

"Hey, how about we strike up a little deal Loki." Ein grinned and Loki scrunched up her eyebrows. "What kind of deal?" She was intrigued on what he would offer.

"Two of my kids are scientists you see? And you gods have been bamboozled. You can't get kids, Isn't it a bit unfair?" Ein gave a smile and Loki perked up, like the devil was whispering in her ears.

"What are you getting at?" Loki knew what he was talking about, but she can't believe it. "Ahh, maybe I shouldn't have offered, thanks for accepting on helping my kids in the dungeon though. I'll escort you out." Ein stood up and Loki panicked.

"Wait! Wait... Sit down, please. Can you tell me more?" Loki bit her lip and swallowed her pride. "Hmm, good girl." Ein smirked and Loki was helpless.

"Now, where was I? Oh yeah, you gods can't have children. You just pop out of nowhere or something. How about I tell you? That isn't the case?" Ein tapped his fingers on the armrest and Loki was getting more and more impatient.

"What? What's the reason!? Tell me, please." Loki couldn't wait anymore and had an outburst. Gods cannot have children. It was a curse that they had to endure since the dawn of time. So they settled with familias. But it isn't the same, and it won't be.

"Ah uh ah. That's the results of my research~ Why should I give out the answer to you? When we're basically strangers and you don't have something for me in return? This is the universal law of equivalent exchange Loki. I'd love to help, but what's in it for me?" Ein smirked and Loki thought it was true.

"What do you want then?" She thought of giving herself, but she remembered Elysia's bountiful fruits.

"Nothing much really, this might not make sense to you. But I want an alliance, you have influence here in Orario. And my kids' powers are sealed so they can learn to be in the shoes of mortals." Ein started explaining.

"So they can get in danger, huh? But won't you guys just bail them out whenever they face danger?" Loki was confused, especially because she knew that Hua could do just that.

"We're going for a hands off approach. Once they leave the sky corridor, they're on their own. That's why Vesta took advantage of Finn being here earlier. She's a good kid." Ein smiled and thought that it was a good move by Vesta. The dungeon's problems weren't only monsters, but other adventurers too.

"I see, but with just me that won't deter danger to them completely." Loki understood his reasons, but it was still lacking.

"Oh, don't worry about that. They need some of that for pressure. And when they learn everything they need to, I'll be taking over Orario easily." Ein shrugged and Loki laughed.

"You're crazy, how are you going to manage that then?" Loki was curious and she thought he was an insane, fun, guy.

"Ever heard of logistics? You can't conquer a place with just might. We will control the logistics of Orario and we can starve this whole place with a snap of my fingers. People can't do anything if we raise prices, every necessary good will be regulated by our familias and other partners." Ein smirked and Loki thought he was really scary.

"Damn, you've thought this out really well huh? But how are you gonna do that, I wonder?" Loki tried getting more information.

"Shush, that doesn't work on me. How about I raise the prices of goods and decrease the price of the loot you get from the dungeon then?" Ein laughed and Loki clicked her tongue.

"Alright, alright. You scary guy, so about that earlier thing. Can I know what you're gonna do? I'm in by the way." Loki sighed and couldn't help it. Not that it was a bad deal anyways. She understood that Ein would succeed, she knew a businessman when she saw one. And he was real good.

"Come and get check ups from my eldest daughter Anahaat. I could give gods a way to have children, but that isn't interesting at all." Ein shrugged and Loki nodded.

"You've got a deal then. Hehe~ I sure as hell don't want to be on the other side against you. And I can also be touchy feely with your beautiful daughters!" Loki chuckled and Ein laughed at her antics.

"Well then, let's get along." Ein shook her hand and Loki smiled at him. Excited that she might be the first ever god to have her own child.

After their talk and they escorted them back to the elevator. Ein sighed, hoping they won't be too reckless or bogged down if the kids ever failed.

"This will be my last help for you guys, it's all on you." Ein thought it was pretty difficult to raise good children.
