Chapter 362: United Front

""When will she regain consciousness?" Lily McKenzie asked the bodyguard next to her, as they had just brought Sophia Taylor in.

"In about half an hour," said Lucas Carter. The one-hour journey from where they got in the car until now should have given enough time for Sophia to wake up.

Half an hour later, Sophia still showed no signs of regaining consciousness. Lily's patience was running thin.

"Should we douse her with water to wake her up?" Lucas proposed, as he noticed Lily's frown, "But we risk her finding us insincere and rejecting our proposal for cooperation." His comment hit home and Lily decided to patiently wait for her to awaken in order to secure her agreement.

Some time later, Sophia woke up, holding her head and surveying her unfamiliar surroundings. Her gaze fell on Lily who was sipping coffee in front of her. She recognized the woman. Lily McKenzie, the popular model. "Did you have me brought here? Why?" she asked.
