Chapter 200: She's Coming Back

"Lucas Carter?" Charlotte Cooper raised her eyebrows.

Lucas held a bouquet of fresh flowers in his hands and looked up at her. He saw her standing behind him, leaning on her cane.

Upon seeing him, Mason Jad instinctively stepped in front of Charlotte and stared at Lucas warily.

"You don't need to worry about me. I won't do anything to her, especially on Henry Russell's territory."

Charlotte frowned when she saw the flowers in Lucas' hands.

"I came to visit you, won't you invite me in to sit? After all, we're old friends who haven't seen each other for a long time. It's impolite to treat your guests like this," Lucas said with a smile.

"I don't remember us being friends."

"Don't say that. We're good friends, and I've even pursued you for so long."

Seeing Charlotte's face darkening, Lucas quickly changed the topic. "Well, I did save you many times."

Charlotte walked past Lucas, leaning on her cane, and went inside.

"Come in."
