Chapter 81: Gathering

Ella winked ambiguously and sat back in her seat.

Charlotte picked up the phone, her face a little red.

"What's wrong?"

"Did you check Instagram?" Henry asked.

"I did."

"I hope it doesn't bring you any backlash." Henry felt a little inappropriate after sending the message since Charlotte was a public figure and his words could easily cause trouble for her.

"Don't worry, I'm already seen as a bitch, that won't change."

As soon as Charlotte finished speaking, she heard Henry chuckle on the other side, "Well, you're my bitch."

Charlotte blushed, wondering when being called a bitch became a compliment.

"What did you call me for?"

"There's a party tonight. Can you come?"

"I have to shoot tonight." Charlotte hesitated.

"It's alright, it's just a friend's gathering. If you're busy, I can go myself."
