Charlotte Cooper froze, watching the two of them for a moment and forgetting her actions.
"Charlotte Cooper, say your lines. Don't be afraid, imagine you're on flat ground right now."
Upon hearing this, Henry Russell looked up at Charlotte Cooper, then down to Susan Hawk, saying a few words. She couldn't hear the conversation from afar, but Susan laughed and playfully slapped Henry's arm, her lips curling up with amusement.
Charlotte stared blankly, seeing the kind of intimacy only shared between lovers that she had never experienced with Henry.
"Charlotte Cooper?"
The director's puzzled voice sounded.
Only then did Charlotte remember she was still filming. She thought about the scene and performed her lines and actions.
Even once the scene ended, she was still somewhat distracted.
The director, Henry, and Susan walked over to her.
"This time felt much better than before. How do you feel?" the director asked.
Charlotte forced a smile, "I'm fine, it was good."
