The guardian just smiled, seeing Alex's curious gaze darting back and forth the terrain. It was pleased that Alex had already realized this place isn't an ordinary place.

They didn't stop moving until they were finally in front of the gigantic tree, taking an up-close look at the tree, Alex could see some kind of runes or patterns that were engraved on the tree

This made him scratch his head in puzzlement, was it just this tree, or does every other tree also have this pattern engraved on them?

The turtle tiger used its front flipper to touch the tree gently, and the patterns on it suddenly started to glow. Alex could feel the insane power gushing from the glowing patterns but he didn't run, nor was he scared, after all the guardian of the realm was with him.

The turtle tiger beast then stepped back a little, this action was of course immediately mimicked by Alex, he didn't want to take chances, even if he believed the glowing patterns meant no harm since he couldn't feel any malice or killing intent from it, it was better to be safe than sorry.

"You asked why I directed her to go that way earlier? Well, it's just my advice to her. Her foundation isn't that solid that's why the beasts in that part of the realm are the weakest, although their bloodlines and lineage still separate them and their power difference, so she has a higher chance to form a contract with one of those" The turtle tiger explain, still looking at the glowing patterns on the tree.

"What would happen if she decides to choose another part, like this part of the realm?" Alex continued to ask, he still didn't understand clearly why the guardian would send the girl towards the weakest beast of the realm.

"They won't even throw her a glance and completely ignore her, that part is her only hope, unless she wants to go back and practice for some more years, she basically has no chance at this point," it said with a smirk formed on its big tiger face.

Alex pondered for a while before speaking again.

"If the beasts on that part are really that weak, why didn't you just tell her to leave and return later? Of what use would a weak beast companion do to a summoner at the basic stage? Wouldn't it be useless if it can't protect its master?"

The beast just glanced at Alex, the smirk on its face deepened even more "who said so? I only said they are the weakest, I never said they would be weak forever, or did I?" The beast questioned Alex.

Alex wasn't able to answer before the guardian continued its words "Actually, the beast over there are just weak at the moment because that's the place where all beasts in the beast realm start from, as time goes on and their strength increase, they will be able to move to the part suitable for their current power level, so be rest assured that whichever beast she chooses can be as strong as the one's on top of their bloodlines and that's where you summoners come in, you are to help them evolve into stronger beings."

Alex nodded in acceptance, he now fully understood the rules of the realm, well not all but he could say 60 percent of its rules.

Alex suddenly remembered something, the turtle tiger had said the girl's foundation wasn't that strong, yet the girl had confirmed that she had been practicing for four years. Alex then thought of himself who had just gotten his elements just a few hours ago, he was suddenly having a bad feeling about coming here.

"Don't you think I should follow her, maybe I...."

" Don't worry, the beasts won't attack her, unless she provokes them" The guardian cut Alex off, preventing him from finishing his words.

"Why are you so worried about her by the way, don't tell me..."the guardian left its words hanging, it was grinning at Alex with a mischievous grin.

Alex could tell that the almighty guardian had gotten the wrong idea from his reaction, this made Alex amused 'even the guardian of the realm could go astray in a conversation?' But he still had to make his words clear so he won't end up regretting it in the future.

"That's not what I meant your Excellency, I am referring to when you said her foundation wasn't strong enough while she had practiced for four years" Alex paused, he was contemplating whether to keep his secret or open up, for fear of the unknown, Alex decided to say it in the end.

"I-i just awakened some moments ago" Alex finally said the biggest taboo he had vowed to keep only to himself and zero of course.

The grin on the face of the guardian stiffened at Alex's words. Alex thought the beast was going to kick him out but what happened next was completely out of his expectation.

"Hahaha, good, very good, a new summoner who can enter the beast realm, not only on the first day of his awaken but also on his first try, this even makes you more special, honestly I'm very curious about you but fear not, the royal beasts would be more than happy to form a contract with you" the guardian amazed voice was what greeted Alex completely relaxing all of his tensed nerves.

"So this part of the realm is for those beasts with royal bloodlines?" Alex tried to confirm if what he heard was true or not.

"Mm," the guardian nodded.

"But which of the beast Royals live here?"Alex wondered.

" When I Said the Royal beast, I'm not referring to a single type, every beast of this realm has their own hierarchy according to their bloodlines, a silver moon wolf has its own royal bloodlines and underlines, same goes for the flame serpents, it's the same for every other beasts, once they improve their bloodlines to that of the royal family through evolving, they can move here, so this part holds all the royal beasts of every single beast species in the realm, and guess what?" 

" They decided their hierarchy through battle?"Alex guessed just as instructed by the guardian.

"No, I should just tell you.." the beast lowered its head and whispered to Alex" I'm not even a member of the royal bloodline of my kind, at least not yet, I still hope to evolve" there was an unweaving pride in its voice as if it was trying to hint to Alex just how powerful its kind that had the royal bloodline could be.

Alex: *...*

What the hell! If the guardian that was able to immobilize him with just its stare wasn't a royal, just how strong would the beast that belonged to the royal bloodline be??

Alex was still in a daze when the patterns that were glowing in the tree finally covered the whole tree and a white portal opened in front of it, to which the other side of the portal was unknown to Alex, the only thing that gave him an idea of what might be on the other end were the sounds of bird's coming from within the portal.
