Archer's POV

I didn't know how to deal with Ella before our wedding day, and I decided to call her best friend after finding out she was at my house.

"What do you want from me, Archer?" Valerie asked me the time she answered my call, and I knew she was avoiding me after she betrayed Mariela. The last time we spoke with each other was when she informed me where I could find Ella, and that was seven years ago, but because of Kent's help, I was able to get her number again.

"You already told me about the wedding, and you don't need to worry because I will be there for my best friend, and I don't even know why you are doing this to her? It would help if you let her live her life peacefully, Archer. Ella had been through a lot, and pressuring her to marry you is another ordeal she must face." She declared.
