Returning to the Routine

The training week ended in the blink of an eye, a sweaty, bloody and crying eye, after all the things we had to do, but at least we did grow stronger, faster, we improved our power, decreased our weakness, we bonded as a Team, and learned new things, it was just a week, so we didn't become gods in that amount of time, but we did improve a bit, Rock Lee and I mastered the Leaf Whirlwind, and just like Guy-Sensei promised, the Gates training begun, by the end of the week, Rock Lee was almost ready to open the First Gate and I already managed to open the Second Gate, is still unusable during combat, unless someone provides a distraction, since I still can't open it just by willing it yet.

Today we return to the D-rank missions, I took the wood chopping, Neji was looking for a cat, and Lee went to work as security for a sale in the market district, we are back to the boring and tedious task a Genin had to endure, at least I can take my time to check the results from last week training.

We had some time to spare, before going to the Training Ground, to meet Guy-Sensei, and suffer the Spartan training he insisted of doubling the intensity in half the amount of time available, so we decided to eat something from the Academy cafeteria, but instead of eating inside, I took Neji and Lee to my old spot, a bench that was in front of the open area of the Academy.
