Chapter 171 THE END

After consummating my marriage with Rennala and making sure I had done my husbandly duties in knocking her up. I decided I needed to pop myself back to the world of RWBY.

As I wanted to talk with someone who had faced many years stoically and hadn't faltered in his journey.

I went straight to Ozpin, the man who had lived for millennia stealing others' bodies and devouring their souls after taking their bodies via a curse by the world's negligent gods.

"Hmm... You have all this power and what? You are lost or something?" Ozpin spoke with an amused smile as he sipped at his hot chocolate.

I gave a shrug and I slowly replied. "I mean. Yeah, that plays a part in it. I can with a flick of my wrist destroy worlds now. It's a heady feeling honestly."

Ozpin was silent for a moment before he spoke curiously. "Jake, I am curious... What do you want to use your power for? You are clearly ageless at this point with the power you have. So you have no need to worry about that. But what do you desire having reached such a peak of power?"

I ruminated on his question for a couple of minutes with the two of us gently drinking from our mugs with my mug being of solid gold and encrusted with gems... Just because I could have one.

"Well, if I decide to keep going to different worlds. I would want to help the world become better than when I arrived... But honestly? I need to just settle down for a few years. I have quite literally more than a half dozen children on the way." I finished with a wry smile.

My ending made Ozpin cough with him throwing me a look before he coughed as he put down his mug. "Hmm? I know of Miss Schnee, along with my own assistant Miss Goodwitch. But you have been a busy young man."

I gave a weak smile at the reminder that Glynda also got knocked up in our tryst. And dear gods was I messy here in the world of Remnant. Thank the gods the male/female population was rather skewed so there weren't too many issues and if anything support for my actions.

"Though... Forgive my thoughts, but I am surprised you didn't get busy with your other teammates." Ozpin spoke with amusement making it my turn to cough as the hot chocolate went down the wrong tube.

"Oz... Ruby is literally my sister at this point. Pyrrha... I think she wants to throttle me when I clam jam her with my semblance and remove her ability to move during a fight. And Jeanne?"

I shrugged as I said honestly. "Me and Jeanne... Is more of a timing thing. She had to work hard to catch up with the combat abilities other students had and I have been busy obviously on my own dealing with making the Grimm go away."

Also... It would make hanging out with Ruby really awkward when I beat Yang to a pulp or just fold her in half to have her in the 'Hold' when she inevitably tried to intimidate me as Ruby's older sister.

Not to mention the really... Really awkward bit about how YoRHa may have killed Raven Branwen. Or gave her the Cinder treatment in removing her limbs and organs, giving her the cyberpunk treatment with YoRHa having her on a leash via the prosthetics.

I don't know which path they went. And I didn't want to know after I had to deal with the guilt of having Weiss's father killed for being a slaving scumbag.

"You could set a goal you know," Ozpin spoke after a couple of minutes of silence as we drank from our mugs.

And his words made me raise an eyebrow before snorting as he spoke. "I have my own major goal now with Salem stepping back and the Grimm pools being dealt with. I plan to own a cocoa plantation and I plan to spend my next eternity trying to make the best hot chocolate in reality."

I shook my head and I gave Ozpin a look before I spoke softly. "Ozma... I can end your curse if you want."

There was a pause as Ozpin's eyes snapped to mine with an intensity I had never seen in him before. And after a moment he took a deep breath and smiled wryly before saying.

"Hmm... If possible I would appreciate this being my last incarnation if you can do that. But I rather not die just now. I would like to enjoy my last few decades in this body." He spoke calmly and honestly.

I was silent for a long moment before I flicked my wrist with a letter opener flying over to me.

I then held the knife opener in my hand that glowed with black and red streaked light as I invoked Destined Death. "Here Ozma... When you are ready to go. Just cut yourself with this blade. And the god's curse upon you will be met with Destined Death."

I could have also used my Gap Semblance to remove the curse. But this way was far easier and more final... With Ozma the warrior having his rest after fighting for humanity for so many millennia.

After Ozma gingerly took the blade he gave an actually warm smile as he nodded and said. "Well, Jake... I can happily say this is the biggest gift one of my students has given me. Anyway, I imagine you need to go see the others. I am going to relax for a bit if you don't mind."

Knowing I gave Opzin a lot to think of, I stood up and gave the man a nod and after I turned my back to him I spoke quietly. "Thanks, Ozpin... For opening your school to me. It was the best thing to happen to me with how it helped me reconnect with people."

And then I left the room knowing I would likely never see Ozpin again.

Which was fine... He had held vigil over so many countless years. It was time for him to relax.

-

From Ozpin, I went to the universe of Halo to interact with YoRHa which was focused on hardening the world for the coming Covenant invasion.

But as I landed there, I paused as I felt an alien sensation cover my form and I looked over to the side and blinked as I saw what looked like a copy of myself... No a copy of myself before my ascensions and he himself had darker blond hair than I had with his eyes keeping my previous light blue eyes before my eyes were filled with Golden Grace.

"You hit the cosmic level huh... Another Jake hitting the big leagues." He spoke and I relaxed and reached into my pocket dimension to pull out a soft drink I grabbed from Remnant and tossed it over to my alternate who grabbed it out of the air with it snapping open on its own.

"So many Jakes... Die on their first world, and here you are at your what fourth, fifth? Its odd that I put Kingdom Hearts Magic into you and that muddles your cosmic alignment with how many worlds you got under your belt." My alternate rambled on.

I raised my hand with a wry smile and asked. "So where did you come from buddy?"

He gave me a knowing smile and shrugged before saying. "I came from Danmachi like a number of Jakes do. We hit level 10 and with that resulting spark of cosmic divinity we head off to other worlds to get even more power to finish up the job of becoming a cosmic power."

I shrugged hearing he wasn't from the worlds I was from and I asked. "So what happens now? Are you here to harvest my power or something." I finished with my hands filling with the power of Destined Death as I readied myself.

But my alternate's face twitched before he sighed and said bluntly. "Hell no... The amount of power I put into the Kingdom Hearts Magic to fit perfectly into your soul took more power than I would get from eating you and digesting all that you are at 100% efficiency."

He looked at me and spoke firmly. "No. What I, and other Jakes do are simple. We reach out towards other Jake Bariss's and give them potential, put them in a situation to grow to meet their potential and we help one another should another cosmic force come to fuck with another Jake."

I absorbed that information and then I remembered what Radahn and Ozpin said about making goals to keep myself busy with my immortality.

So I smiled and said with the weight falling off my shoulders as I made myself a powerful goal. "Then I will be a new hope then my alternates that I meet in the future... Thank you for coming and telling me this."

My alternate gave me a proud smile before he formed a sphere of pure memory inside his hand. "Here." He spoke and the orb flew towards me. "This is a bit of a guide on how to follow up the cosmic line to find our alternates who die and are ready to be reincarnated. Also, a pathway through the Omniverse to get to some of the more popular universes... How can you be a cosmic reincarnation without your own Rias Gremory after all haha."

And with that. My alternate's laughter rumbled the earth around me with its force, I saw him wave his hand to create a multicolored portal that he stepped into that took him away from this universe.

I held the solid memory within my hands deep in thought... And then I smiled as I whispered. "Well... I still need to take a break to let my kids come into these worlds. Then I can reach into the cosmos."
