Interception

Fang Heng quickly made his way back through the underground maze passage to the Great Hall of the death knights.

This was bad!

At the entrance, the team formed by Collete and Karsa had already occupied the entire entrance to the Great Hall. It looked like they had just arrived.

Fang Heng immediately concealed his aura and hid at the periphery of the entrance to observe.

Collete and Karsa were concentrating on the final entrance leading to Empress Persephone's mausoleum, both showing signs of doubt.

Something seemed off.

In the past, whenever they reached this place, the guards of the Empress's mausoleum would be activated, and they would be intercepted by the death knights resurrected within the Great Hall.

Yet today, they only saw four stone statues of death knights and an overwhelming mass of vines.

The vines and roots almost completely covered the entire Great Hall.
