Royal Bargaining

Austria, June 15th 1800

Lukas was in his room, sitting at his desk and reading a book when he heard a knock on his door. The blonde boy immediately turned his head to where the sound came from.

Lukas yawned for a bit. "Come in," he said.

The door then opened, and a smiley Olivia walked in. She had a letter in his hand, and seemed pretty content.

Olivia kept her smile. "This is the response from the Royal Family, Lukas," she said.

Lukas immediately put down the book and stood up from his chair. "This fast? Great," he said as he walked towards Olivia.

Lukas quickly picked the letter from Olivias hands. "Thank you, Olivia. You may go," he said.

Olivia nodded her head. "Of course," she said before she turned and left Lukas's room, closing the door behind her.

Lukas then sat on his bed and started reading the letter. After finishing reading, he put in back in the envelope.
