Chapter 2 Orphanage

 (A Day later)

  Amelia woke up the next day and found out that she was still in the hospital, she thought yesterday was a dream,but it was not,even her hair colour which was naturally brown with some strands red is now completely long and red like a red rose ,no wonder some of the nurse were staring at her and even some went to extent of patting her to check maybe she wasn't wearing a wig.Amelia did not know the reason why they were doing this but she didn't feel unsafe. Some people came to ask for more information from her like

 'what is your name'

 'where do you and your parent live'

 'how old are you'

  They asked her so many questions that even Amelia couldn't fathom,she only answered the question she could answer with

  "My name is Amelia, I am seven years old".

  Amelia was taken away to from the hospital to the orphanage. When Amelia heard that she would be taken to the orphanage,she asked the nurse about the orphanage and she told her that it is where children who have no parent are being taken care of. Amelia has no option she has lose the people who are very precious to her.She has nowhere to go in this new world which seems unfamiliar to her,and she has nobody by her side.

(Five years later)

  A beautiful and moderately tall girl is hiding behind a wall giggling.The green colour of her eyes shines like a fine green leaf, she wore a wine coloured short gown which corresponds with the colour of her hair. Even though her cloth was just cheap and simple looking with her hair tied into a bun,her beauty cold not be hidden.

  "I have found everyone but I haven't found Amelia"a boy also looking like he is around 14 years of age is walking around the garden looking for someone.

  "Amelia, aunt Abigail will be here any time soon. So we have ended the hide and seek game come out now,if you don't.....

The boy turned to his right hand side and found the person he was looking for

  "Found you!!"the boy shouted,and the girl screamed,but the screaming didn't last long because she was now frowning

  "Sam,you know you are cheating"Amelia said annoyingly as she stood up from where she was hiding.

  "What did I do"Sam said with his arms wide indicating that he did not know what she meant.

  "Why won't you know what you did. Where is the blindfold"Amelia pointed to his empty hands

  "Actually,this is it"A girl went straight in front of Amelia.The girl had a long,black,silky hair,and an incompletely black eyes,because it has some silver shades in it.She is a year older than Amelia.

  "Akira,wh...

  Akira interrupted Amelia's statement

  "Mother said you should come to the office right away"Akira said.

Referring to mother, she is the one managing the orphanage.Though,calling her mother did not mean she is the real 'mother',the children and other staffs in the orphanage only calls her that.

  "To the office!"Amelia is currently at a state of shock. Everyone including her knew what that meant,anyone mother calls to her office is already adopted.This is not illegal,but Amelia did not want to be away from her loved ones,what will she do?

In Mother's office.

  A woman and her husband were discussing with mother,Amelia walked into the office and bowed to mother and the two couples sitting,probably in their thirties. The woman looked at Amelia and smiled,Amelia forced a cute smile in response.

  "This is Amelia, the girl that we have been talking about,she is a very gentle girl,obedient and smart."mother said(Mrs Audrez).

  "Don't worry Mrs Audrez we will definitely be the best parent for her"the woman said 

 The conversation continued,some documents were signed,Amelia also thumb signed some.

  "Would you like giving her another name"

  'Another name!' Amelia's brows knitted

  "Oh yes,yes"the woman said and faced her husband who was lazily seated like an unbothered fellow.

  "Do you remember the name I said we will give her"she asked

  "Mia"the husband simply said.

  "So the name is Mia"mother said

  "Amelia is now Mia. Mr and Mrs Anderson please take care of Ame... Take care of Mia,if we hear about any maltreatment,I am sorry but we would have to take her away from you" Mother said.

  When Amelia's friends heard about the adoption,they were sad,but the same at time happy for her. Amelia waved her friends goodbye,and entered into the car with her new parent to a new home.

  "She is really very lucky since she got here, I heard she is adopted by the top 2 richest business couple that were not able to have a child,I am just happy for her" Sam said to Akira,expecting her comment.

Akira who seem to be uninterested with his conversation shrugged.

  "Like I care anyway" Akira smirked,and walked away from him. Sam quickly ran to catch up with her

  "Hey,why are you always jealous of that innocent girl"Sam said

  "Who told you that I am jealous,jealous of what" Akira smirked again

  "No one did,but your behavior towards her can tell,or did you guys fight indoor"Sam asked. Akira grinned

  "Will you stop following me,and stop talking about someone else affairs. Don't you think it feels weird the way you like talking. You are a boy!!" Akira scolded.
