Chapter 23

"Don't stop halfway." He said but I am too tired to continue what I want to say. He kisses my forehead and tries to lie me down in a comfortable position since I am too tired to move. "I hope you'll get better soon." He said. I felt the bed move and the door close.

I woke up to the noise outside so I went out to look. "Sage," I called out. He runs toward me and hugs me as he pushes me back into the room. "What are you doing?" I ask.

"You shouldn't go out of the room dressed like this," he said then closed the door. He then opens the closet and gets one of his shirts. "Put this on." He commanded.

I didn't argue with him anymore and wear his shirt. "What's the fuss outside?"

"King and Bright came with the daughter of the nanny." He replied.

Oh, I see… now I know why he is so flustered when I went out of the room wearing my sleeveless nightgown. "So, is it okay for me to go out like this?" I said then turned around in front of him. "You're not going to hide my legs, too?"
