Invaders!

"When did you arrived?" Subaru asked Theo , suddenly appearing behind him.

Theo got startled and dropped his palmtop on the ground.

"Seriously man, will you stop appearing so suddenly like a ghoul. You make me look stupid infront of my girlfriend". Theo bragged about Rinka who also got baffled on sudden appearance of Subaru.

"Why she is here? She doesn't have mana even compared to E rank hunters". Subaru asked what he already measured on the first day he spoke to her.

"Don't measure everyone with your high standards. Rinka chan have a very good skill which those killers might notice and attack her". The shota defended the loli on which the pink haired loli puffed her non existing breast out with her hands crossed smugly.

" Don't underestimate me Subaru kun. I might not be powerful as you , but I can totally handle a bunch of monster on my own you know". Confidence overleaked from her words.

" Yosh. .. yosh". Theo patted Rinka which made her melt and her face loosened up.

"Theo why are you here late. And what information you got? " Subaru asked as he knew Fubuki won't had left Theo for no reason and came without him first.

" Obervative as usual huh. Well , I got some intel on the way those two knights attack and what might actually be their motive". Theo started tapping on his palmtop and turned it toward Subaru.

On the screen there were pictures bodies of the deceased hunters . All of them were killed in brutal manner but one thing was common .

"Their mana is sucked ".

"Yes, you got it right. We came to conclusion that the wild one kills the hunters and silent one sucks the mana and make them dry till the core". Subaru squinted his eyes .

"Any other thing?" Subaru asked .

"None . They usually detroy cameras before entering the room somehow. The only footage we got about them were from the hidden cameras. Guess they aren't much intelligent".

" Umm.. Theo, when the first dimensional rift opened ? "

" About 20 years , coincidentally in Japan near Kyoto region. Why? " Subaru realised that it wasn't about their intelligence rather they didn't knew that there was something like hidden camera actually exist.

While they were chatting , a sudden corner of the room was getting freezy watching the trio.

A white masked girl, which was sitting with two women standing beside her, frowned her brows as soon she saw a certain pink haired girl beside Subaru.

Ririka , had no motive to let this chance of getting Subaru go when she had Subaru in front of her predatory eyes. Two years ago , she tried her fullest to find the whereabouts of Subaru but thanks to Sasha she didn't found anything , except for the fact that he was one of the free lancer. Ririka was the 4th freelance hunter , who was still unknown by Association but somehow Ririka got the intel of all the others freelancer including Subaru , with the help of her clan's assets.

She knew that he had a intrest in being hunter ,so she trained herself beyond her limits in order to meet him in the hunter's school, with strength able to supress him and make him surrender infront of her. She was well aware of the difference between hers and Subaru so she made her resolve and trained constantly.

Her plan took her 2 days and training took 2 years to become stronger and stronger. She unexpectedly awakened her second trait some months ago, which made her very happy as it would had helped her to counter Subaru's rebilion behaviour when he would try to break free from her.

She already had imagined countless times , how she will tie him up and pet him to be obidient so he would look for her only and belong to hers only.

But today she realised that she wasn't the only one who became stronger after meeting Subaru. Her teleportation has became quite smooth as well as her mana concealment but it was totally futile against the person for whome she actually trained for.

'My plan was flawless. I came this far, abandoning all the things and people , making myself strong just for you and still someone else is getting your attention. Let's see how much that bitch could display her smirk like that,when I will rip her face apart. '. Her mask worked very well to hide the furiousness of hers as her face might could have made many brats piss their pants immediately.

"Ryouka, check on that boy with green hairs and his background." She ordered her personal assistant , on which she only bowed after glancing toward the group

There wasn't only one corner which was having sudden change in surrounding temperature as in a different corner , heat waves were making the people sweat buckets non stop.

Sasha had her eyes on Subaru's group but she didn't reacted much as she knew Rinka was Theo's girlfriend and his son likes it big .

She was getting on edge because of Ririka as she noticed her following Subaru toward the resting area.

Sahsa wasn't able to follow them because of certain information brought by Theo infront of her and as a senior hunter she had to look into that matter first, even she didn't wanted to.

She gritted her teeth when she noticed that Ririka's fluctuating mana just because Subaru was near a girl.

Sahsa wasn't an idiot to notice someone, just like her , being aggressively possessive toward her son, and she wasn't happy about it at all.

'I won't let someone touch my baby even i have to destroy Momobami clan completely'.

"Will you stop it. Gosh..I might have to go naked at this rate". Fubuki spoke, who threw her white fur coat previously and was blowing air inside her dress becuase of the heat, Sasha was producing .

After leaving the flirting couple alone, Subaru jumped on a huge box and started thinking about certain things.

He had Ririka in his thoughts as he was seriously mesmerized by her but he was more concerned about the killer duo .

He didn't even saw the silent predator to attack even once and a silent opponent was more lethal than anything else.

'Maybe i am overthinking'. Subaru looked at the different groups in the hall before laying down on the box .

He closed his eyes and focused his senses aimlessly.

He was able listen to every words from every corner whether it was loud laughter or silent mumbling.

In middle of those mumbling he picked a presence, which was rather disturbing with the enormous mana enveloping its body . Before Subaru could have realised that this presence was belonged from someone from inside but was approaching from outside, the door of the warehouse got burst open.

Subaru's opened his eyes immediately when he heard the sound.

He jumped off from the box and stood while facing the two envadors.

He was on the most backside of the hall, so his mother was the one who came forward first with Fubuki beside her.

Two red and black armoured person who looked like mediaeval knights walked slowly inside . It wasn't a doubt that who they were ,so all the hunters pulled thier guards on.

Subaru with flash steps approached the front and observed the two .

One of them had enormous amount of mana which was quite dominating for many weak people but the two S rankers held their ground comfortably infront of the knights.

The red cladded one was the wild monster who always killed the hunters and right now was releasing that dark aura.

The black armoured knight was silent as always with no aura residing at all , like it was a normal human.

The red knight rubbed his metallic hands making a screeching sound and spoke in a fanatic tone.

"Haaaa...souls . Too many souls . Hehehhehehheh we can finally eat to our fills . Ah...we have a tasty full course meal too hehe. Well then itadakimasu~". He disappeared from everyone's sight and appeared right behind Subaru who had his eyes closed relaxly.

Subaru ducked and dodged the approaching claw of the red knight .

Everyone was stunned with this sudden invasion.

Sahsa regained her senses immediately and created fire lances above her head.

The fire lances were directed toward the black knight who was standing still without any motion.

She knew, that the red one was too near to Subaru so she might could hurt him therefore she chose the other one to attack first.

Her fire lances flew at a ferocious speed toward it only to get vanished in thin air after reaching a certain distance.

It would be lie to say that Sasha wasn't surprised but she smirked and chanted another spell soon after.

The place where the black knight was standing , suddenly started melting, forming a huge circle of lava plate beneath it's feet.

The black armoured didn't buzzed even standing on a surface with a temperature more than 200°C .

On the other end Subaru was dodging the continuous attack of the red one . He found an opening and with a clenched fist ,punched really hard on its metal abdomen , throwing the attacker toward the entrance.

*Kwaahk*. The red armoured slid toward the burning plate , beside it's commarade.

"Let's see how you handle this one". Subaru said with his fist enveloped with blue flames .
