Chapter 62 - Meeting Itachi and Kisame

In a hidden underwater cave, in the middle of the Land of Rivers, all of sudden came a flash of light and in the next moment, the figure of Ren and Peri could be seen.

As soon as he teleported, the first thing that Ren did was check his surroundings with his spiritual sense, then after making sure that the coast was clear he with Peri still on top of his head, jump in the water that lead to the exit of the cave, one of the major river of this country that divided the Land of Rivers in two and started from the Land of Fire and end in the ocean touching the Land of Wind.

Once outside and on the banks of the river the first thing Ren did was to dry himself, then he took out some black powder, draws a circle, with the appropriate symbols set apart in four quadrants upon the ground, place his palms down under the circle to activate the spell and chant "Bakudō #58. Kakushitsuijaku (Footprint-Attentive Pursuing-Sparrows)" the circle glows with a blue light as the symbols within the circle are animated.

And so starts his search in a radius of 200km (I know it seem a lot, but the shinobi world is huge, and the Land of Rivers on the map is one of the bigger non great lands, and if I compare the shinobi world map with our world map, the land of rivers is slightly bigger than Oceania continent, of course that is in my mind I just compared the 2 on a similar scale).

What Ren was searching for was a particular chakra signature, to be more precise was the huge chakra amount of the Tailless Bijuu (Tailed Beast) Hoshigaki Kisame after all his chakra is so much that even Nagato/Pain has less chakra than him and he is a Uzumaki.

The first attempt was a failure, so Ren and Peri moved to another perimeter of 400km to try once again, and after 4 days of failures when he was starting to think that the info was wrong, he finally felt this big chakra signature with another relative big one near him, in the est direction towards, the Land of Fire.

Then Ren hid himself and Peri with the Bakudō #26. Kyokkō (Bent Light) and moved fast towards his objective, and soon he found them walking by the banks of the main river, splitting the Land of Rivers in half and irrigating said Land with its many branch, with a calm but always vigilant step.

One of them is a very tall, muscular shinobi, he has a distinctive shark-like appearance, complete with pale, blue-grey skin, and has small, round, white eyes, 3 sets of curved facial markings under his eyes, gills on his shoulders, and sharp triangular teeth, he also styled his blue hair in the form of a shark fin.

And wears the typical cloak members of Akatsuki wore, and underneath it he was bare-chested, he also wore a brown sash across the front and back of his cloak to hold Samehada in place, he is Hoshigaki Kisame.

The other is a fairly tall man of fair complexion, he has black eyes, under which were long, pronounced tear-troughs, he also has jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and his face was framed with centre-parted bangs that extended to his chin, and his attire is the standard Akatsuki cloak and a slashed Konoha forehead protector, under his cloak he wore mesh armour with navy accents under an identical T-shirt with a simple white belt around the waist and dark blue pants.

He has unbuttoned his cloak to mid-chest and rest his left arm there, rather than in the sleeve, he is none other than Uchiha Itachi, winner of the prizes, best bro-con of the series, unsung hero till needed of the series, forehead fetishist, and MVP mind breaker (Know victim Sasuke, Kakashi, Sasuke, Deidara, Sasuke, Himself and Kabuto).

Then Ren after making sure that they were truly who they seem, he slowly moved close calculating the distance, then he unsheathed Senbonzakura, put it in front of his face and said "Saka (Bloom), Senbonzakura", and immediately his Zanpakuto's blade turned into a light pink color and a soft, delicate, and pretty floral scent started emanating from it.

As Itachi and Kisame were walking toward their destination hoping to find clues of the location of others Jinchuriki, they felt a nice and calm wind, carrying with it a pretty and somewhat familiar floral scent.

Then all of sudden Itachi heard his partner yell "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!?" and soon the unsheathed his sword Samehada, a large sword, roughly as tall as a full-grown man and comparable in size to the Kubikiribōchō. Though usually wrapped in bandages, Samehada's construction is atypical in that its actual blade is comprised from a series of downward-facing scales running along the entirety of its length until its hilt, at the base of which is a small skull.

And soon he started swinging his blade in the air while still yelling "What the fuck is this monster, and how can these tentacle grow back so fast?!?", then after another swing he does a set of hand, while Itachi who realise his situation Yells "Kisame, it's a genjutsu wake up!", but Kisame ignore Itachi and use the Suiton: Suidan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Bullet Technique) shooting it in the air.

Then Itachi hears a voice that says "He isn't able to hear you..." and as he turns in the direction of the voice he saw a ,from the voice, young man of around 1,7m tall, wearing a black kimono and a porcelain horned mask on his wrist he had a protector with the kanji for the number "1" and a Chrysanthemums.

Just has he was about to ask something, Itachi once again heard his partner yell "Shit water jutsu are useless against this thing, Itachi! While I distract it you use some fire!" and he started once again swing Samehada, while some time moving in weird ways to evade some attack.

Then he once again said "Damn even fire doesn't work against this thing", and seeing that Kisame still didn't notice that he was in genjutsu he turn once again to the mysterious young man and says "That is a pretty strong genjutsu, and is probably caused by this smell isn't it?" the he activated his Three-Tomoe Sharingan, but he still didn't notice anything.

Then he once again ask "Just for curiosity, against what are you making my partner fight?" and Ren smiled under the mask and say "Let's just say something I regretted seeing" and at that moment Kisame jumps high in the air while screaming "THAT'S MY ASS BITCH!!!" and started furiously swinging is sword around as if he was facing is greatest enemy, while protecting his most important thing.

Kisame reaction put Itachi even more on guard, but what this masked man said next caused his eyes to open wide in surprise "By the way, nice to finally meet you....Brother-in-Law".
