Grown Men Didn't Chase Butterflies

Mila dug the frisbee out of the back of her closet and was about to get dressed when she realized Leo was watching her. Her cheeks burned. Having a cat watch her change was one thing but having a man do it was another even if he was a cat on the inside.

She grabbed her clothes and went to change in the bathroom. This was going to take some serious getting used to.

When she came out, she was wearing white shorts and a pink and blue ombre t-shirt. Her messy bangs had been fixed and her just-below-the-shoulders hair was pulled back in a ponytail. All she needed now was socks and tennis shoes.

Belatedly, she realized that Leo probably wouldn't be able to move around well in a suit. She didn't have any clothes for him so she helped him take off his suit coat and roll up the sleeves on his shirt. He was going to roast otherwise because southern California in April was rather warm.
