Chapter 203- Hollis – Someone Interesting Part 3 (VOLUME 3)

**HOLLIS'S POV**

Later that night, I was at work with Addie in her office. I kept getting distracted by what had happened earlier in the day, spacing out and not really working at all. I could tell that I was causing more work for the others, that I should be working, but I wasn't about to help it. I was thinking about Ash too much.

"Hollis?" Addie called from across the room. She was standing by a door that I had never been through before.

"Yeah?"

"Can we talk?" She pointed toward the door, indicating that she wanted to talk alone.

"Yeah, OK." I rose from the table, leaving Sassy there to work without us. She looked suspicious, but she didn't say anything at all.

As soon as we stepped into the other room, Addie shut the door and spoke. She seemed to know that there was something bothering me, or at least that something was on my mind. And the distracted version of me was worrying her. She thought that someone had done something to upset me.
