Secrets from eavesdropping

Bella, who didn’t feel secured anymore and not sure about what would happen to her if she left the house all by herself, slowly turned her feet back and walked towards where the others stood.

“There is someone in the house, isn’t it?” Vivian asked again when Falcon and Reese didn’t answer her the first time.

“Well…” Reese strained with a little laugh, “who could it be?” she replied with a question and the clattering of objects were soon heard, which was enough to bring all of their attention.

“I can’t believe you both,” Vivian said with disappointment in her eyes before making her way towards where the sound came from.

Reese looked at Falcon before her eyes moved to look at the other four who stood at some distance, having wary looks on their faces.

“Can someone explain what is going on?” Carl directed his question to Falcon and Reese.

Reese turned her eyes to look at him and she said, “Shut it!” before walking to stand in front of Falcon.
