Turns of Things

Vivian, Bella, Carl and Chloe all rushed to the hospital and immediately located the ward where Dylan’s mom was. On getting there, they saw Dylan sitting outside with his head buried down and when he heard footsteps, he slowly raised his head up.

After they had sat and chatted the day before, Dylan got home with a happy heart, thinking about how happy his mother would be when she sees him. He didn’t inform her that he would be coming home though he wouldn’t have been home if Jody hadn’t insisted on them leaving. But amidst his happiness, he was also wondering why his mother never visited him during the times when he was still at the detective’s house.

Even though none of his friend’s mother visited their child during their stay at the house, he had guessed that it must be because Carl’s mother and Jody are sisters, Bella’s and Chloe’s mother had already put in their trust in Jody while Vivian’s parents care less about her, but not his own mother.
