Chapter 229: Klent's Realisation

With Man's horrific appearance and the strange smile on the man's face, Hans started feeling less and less like he was dealing with another man and more like he was dealing with the devil!

But even with this harrowing realisation, Hans didn't back down.

Deal with the devil? What does it matter!?

All those times he and his village prayed to their gods and ancestors, when they were truly needed, none were to be found.

If the devil was the one who would give him strength then Hans would accept it no matter the cost.

With a strengthened resolve, Hans took a deep breath in before he replied.

"Of you can truly provide me with strength then I don't care, I'm willing to pay anything! My life, my future, even my soul it doesn't matter!"

Seeing the kid's desperation, Dante just chuckled.

"Boy, for this power, I don't want any of those things from you. I just want the one thing," said Dante
