He caught Luca at his desk in the study shuffling papers that he needed to go over to sell his company. He’d done his research and found a company to buy his business that didn’t outsource their labor or research and development and agreed to keep Ferone in New Jersey. The arrangement he made was the corporation would own all of the patents but would pay Luca a royalty on each item sold. They bought him out at one hundred million in cash and two hundred million in discounted stock options that would be vested in three years. The offer was conditional upon Luca remaining at the helm as president with a two million dollar a year salary plus bonuses for three years.
