44. Because of Love

Charles is sparring in the ring. He is stretching his muscles. The people that fought him all lost. They couldn't believe how the man was able to beat them at his age. 

"Sir, a call from the lady..." His assistant told him that there was a call from Cleo.

  "Do you think that you can take care of it?" Charles asked when answering the call. 

Cleo stayed silent for a few moments. "Yup, I can. Have I ever been unsure of what I'm doing? " Cleo said.

  They talked for a bit more, until Cleo finally hung up. 

If you need something, just tell me. And I'll ask someone to go there. " Charles said, making Cleo smile.

  "You treat me like a little kid," Cleo said. 

That's because you are my daughter. How could I not be worried if something bad happened to you? "

  "Charles, thank you." Cleo said, deafening the man on the other end of the phone call.
