First Mission

At Ichiraku Ramen

"Senpai did you actually got a team this year and didn't fail them?" Yamato shocked asked Kakashi who had failed all the teams who had been assigned to him.

"Hn, you seem happy today?" Kakashi replied in a lazy tone and nods.

"HEHE! senpai my students are really strong"

"I see, Zoro and Rumi was it?"

"Yeah they are really strong and there teamwork is pretty good as well they forced me to use up all my chakra during the fight they really have unique ways of fighting probably that was the reason but they are still strong" and Yamato explained to him what happened during the test.

"Hmm.." Kakashi remembered Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke's exam and compared to if it is how Yamato explained to him the difference is huge.

'One uses three swords hmm definitely unique'

"So are you gonna recommend them to the chunin exam this year?" Kakashi asked

"Yeah definitely they shouldn't have a problem with the exam it should be quite easy for them.... what about your team?"

"SIGH.... I don't know yet maybe I will have to decide after a couple of missions and see how they progress"

"Yamato sensei do we seriously have to start with D rank missions you know our strength right C rank shouldn't be a problem we could probably even take on a B rank" Rumi said trying to make Yamato take a C rank instead of D.

"I know, I know ... but we will have to take a couple of D ranks before we can take C rank unfortunately"

"SIGH I am gonna sleep and send a clone to the mission" Zoro said and got ready to sleep.

"Not a bad idea lets do that"

SIGH after seeing both of them Yamato could only sigh.

"Fine I will ask the hokage to give us a C rank mission so be prepared when I call you"

Rumi immediately got up in excitement while Zoro had already slept after a punch on his head Zoro woke up.

'How did he even fall asleep so quick' Yamato thought while watching Zoro and Rumi argue like couples.

"But before all of that lets take a team photo"

Yamato stood in the middle with Rumi on his left and Zoro on the right with his hands on both of there heads all of them had a big smile on there face.

"So we are officially team 11 now" Yamato said with a wide grin on his face.

"You guys can go home now I meet me tomorrow I will see if I can get a mission or we can just train"

Both Zoro and Rumi nod and go back.

Next day both Zoro and Rumi arrive at the training grounds, Zoro just sleeps while Rumi practices fuinjutsu as they are waiting for Yamato.

After around 30 mins Yamato finally arrives and sees sleeping Zoro and Rumi who was wrapping things up after sensing him.

Yamato chops on Zoro's head waking him up. Zoro still sleepy yawns and says lazily "Good morning"

SIGH

Seeing Zoro's behaviour Yamato could only SIGH, he knows by his physique he works hard but whenever he will get a chance he will go to sleep.

"Lets go we got a mission!!"

"Whats the mission YAWN sensei?" Rumi seeing still sleepy Zoro punches him in the gut and Zoro finally woke up.

"OUCH did you really have to do that" faking a tear Zoro asked Rumi

"Now now calm down, mission is quite simple we just have to clear out some bandits hideouts on the way to land of Tea, they have been causing a lot of trouble recently so people have requested the Leaf to handle it"

"Do we have to capture them?" Rumi asked

"No you can kill them but you can capture them if you are not confident enough to kill yet" Yamato thought maybe Rumi is afraid of killing but Rumi who had Esdeath's memories had already seen many people get massacred and tortured.

"Then we will move after half an hour go gather your supplies and meet me at the village gate it will take at least half a day to reach to the bandits"

Both nod and Shunshined away.

"They move fast maybe it won't take that long" Yamato muttered seeing Zoro and Rumi disappear. Little did he know both of them still had there weights on.

After around 30 mins Rumi arrived at the village gates with Yamato who was waiting for them. After around 10 mins Zoro finally arrived.

"What happened Zoro did you run into a problem?" seeing Zoro arrive 10 mins late Yamato was a bit worried

"Nah.... I just got lost"

"EH?" Yamato

"Hey!! didn't you tell me you fixed your problem of getting lost?" Rumi said with a tick mark on her forehead shaking her head.

"It still happens sometimes it can't be helped"

"SIGH whatever just try not to be late next time lets go!"

Jumping from branch to branch the new Team 11 made there way to the hideout at extreme speeds.

After around 4 hrs they finally reach at the bandit hideout which is a cave with many huts around it.

'They managed to keep up even if I wasn't at my max speed and both of them aren't tired out completely as expected my students are really something'

"Sensei the people inside are ninjas 2 jonins and 3 chunins and rest of the 20 are normal" Rumi is a sensor ninja so she can feel the presence of people from quite far.

"Hmm maybe rogue ninja from the sand we need to go back and report back to Lord Hokage this might change into a B rank or an A rank mission"

"We can do it sensei" Zoro said and dropping his weights not from to high creating a small crater in the ground "both me and Rumi are wearing weights so if we take them of we should be able to do it plus this will be good experience for the future and we can probably assassinate some at night and easily get the advantage"

Even though the original Zoro would never use such cheap tricks the current one knows they are living in the ninja world now and is not dumb enough to fight them head on.

'Holy shit!! how much do those weights weigh, they were wearing this all this time HAAH I am even qualified to teach these kids' sweats drops as Yamato thinks 'Maybe these guys have greater talent than Kakashi senpai'

"Fine but if anything goes wrong we instantly retreat, we will start or plan at around 1 at night so lets rest and regain your stamina"
