The next morning, Reginald strode into his office jauntily.

And a moment later, his secretary walked in after him. “Your tea, Boss.” Mrs. Chin said, placing the tray on the table.

Just then, Jade sauntered in. She nodded when the secretary greeted her, then turned to Reginald.

“Husband, can I have a word?”

“Yes, of course.”

He spoke in his usual business-like tone, but as soon as the secretary closed the door behind her, his demeanor changed.

“Jade, come sit next to me. Our plan seems to be working out well so far.”

She smiled wickedly.

“I just love it when a plan comes together. And, how’s that money-grubbing Singapore slut handling all this? I hope she’s breaking down!”

“Well, we’re about to find out. Take a seat.”

He picked up his phone gleefully and keyed in a number.
