He really didn't want to recklessly attack. Now that he didn't even have a option to heal, he grew more cautious.

He used his new skill Blood Eye to accurately see the Black panther and then used the telekinesis like branch skill of Blood Eye.

After waiting for few seconds he still didn't get any result.

"Is my guess wrong and there is no such restriction like skill attached with it??"

All of a sudden, he felt blood in his body decrease. He frowned, he looked around him to check if there were any beasts nearby.

He looked around but did not find anything but the blood in his body was still decreasing together with energy.

"If there is no beast attacking me then what's it? is it the backlash of Blood Eye skill?" he staggered because of sudden loss of blood and energy.

Still, he looked towards the Black panther and found that the panther was acting abnormally.

The Black panther's body was acting as if struggling to escape but the movement caused by its legs didn't happen.

It did not take him more than an instant to understand where his blood was being used. He quickly halted the skill Blood Eye then heaved a sigh of relief.

"A skill that directly consumes my blood? Does that mean Ten eyes eagle was also consuming its blood and was unable to kill us when it used the skill"

"If the skill I got works same for the Ten eyes eagle then it means the Ten eyes eagle could have weakened itself or might have died without any trouble, only if we could prolong the battle."

"I was exhausted just from using it for five seconds, that even on one beast"

"If what i hypothesized is true then how much blood did Ten eyes eagle had restrict all of us?" he was shocked

With the color of Ten eyes eagle, it was clear that its skill was on higher level than him.

Higher level means lower consumption of energy and blood, but still to restrict five of them for that long meant that either Ten eyes eagle had more blood or it actually didn't need it anymore.

"Maybe because it had ten eyes, it was able to use the skill Blood Eye more efficiently. After all, its bloodline had that ability."

Beasts gained abilities different than humans. They didn't train into any ability willingly, they did happen to learn it because of their bloodline.

Except for their bloodline ability, they could not learn any ability, and only by purifying their bloodline could they gain more profound skills.

Humans were inherently weak but intelligent creatures which developed in every direction and created ability by mimicking the beasts.

"Should I train my right eye? it did mention that I could only train this skill with one eye but it did not tell whether or not I can train the other eye later."

He hesitated and did not try training his other eye. He lost lot of blood just now because of one use.

Even if it were a powerful skill, it still had its disadvantages. User could not fight against more than one beast.

Even when alone, user had to quickly kill the beast before being weakened by loss of blood.

He sat down and circulated his energy. His cells felt energized and his lack of blood was being recovered.

"I have lost lot of blood just in one use of the skill. Loss of blood is close to 100 ml. "

"It is currently sustainable but sudden loss of blood in between a fight would be hazardous."

He shook his head gloomily. After lots of trouble he gained a skill but instead of a passive vision increase it did not give him any benefits.

After half an hour of recovery he felt his body health increase. 100 ml of blood was not much, only 2 percent of total blood.

"I cannot use Blood Eye from distance. It will be meaningless to restrict movement when you can't kill it."

He thought for a while, walking and circling around the tree, he had a sudden idea.

It was logical but he did not know if it was feasible.

He quickly climbed the tree he used to restrict Black panther with Blood Eye. He used his left eye with its passive vision enhancement.

He could clearly see the Black panther a kilometer and half ahead of him, when focused.

"Okay, let's put it use." His hands were shaking in anticipation for what was to come.

He looked at Black panther and stared into its eyes. He wore his Green lens he got from killing an illusion snake.

The green lens was one of his trump cards. He did not use it much in battles because of his inexperience and urgency but he could use it now.

He used it in battle with a Metal bear. He also used it to one hit kill the demonic kangaroo.

For beasts in intermediate tier, it was not that effective. But with his enhanced vision, he wanted to try it out on Black panther.

He stared into the Black panther's eyes and commanded it to slowly come to his direction.

The Black panther was assaulted just now by his restrictions. It did not have mental resistance to resist the new attack.

Because of fear from its earlier movements restriction, it was already pretty scared.

Roan felt a slight connection to Black panther with his green lens. Black panther walked in his direction slowly.

"Success" Roan rejoiced seeing the Green lens work on beast. He only wanted to give it a try because he didn't have much energy to experiment with Blood Eye.

The panther walked for five steps before abruptly stopping. It broke of the mental connection made with Green lens and was warily looking around.

It was so scared that its body was shaking with its legs trembling. It had its tail tucked in between its two legs.

The beast was cursing inwardly in beast language about how wretched someone is to use such skills on it.

It felt wronged, it did not even come here on its own accord. It was just asked to tag along.

Roan looked at the Black panther which suddenly stopped and did not move again.

"It is not that effective nevertheless I am not losing any energy from using the green lens. I can just use it until the Black panther reaches me."

He used the green lens again and rebuild the mental connection with the Black panther.

The panther was again caught in illusion and walked five more step before suddenly stopping.

This time it was so scared that it directly thumped down on ground with shaky legs. It did not dare to stand anymore.

However, Roan did not stop here. He used the green lens on Black panther again.

Surprisingly, this time the Black panther moved fifteen steps before thumping on the ground again.

Roan's eyes lit up. He only needed negligible amount of energy to use his beast soul armament. The mental resistance on Black panther was also weakening.

"If it works like this then I can just command them to come here one by one and kill them discreetly"

He again established the connection with Black panther and commanded it to rush here.

The Black panther was already 20 meters away from the lake. None of the other beasts noticed the abnormality of Black panther.

It didn't even matter if they did notice. None of them could anything to an enemy more than a kilometer away.

Black panther covered double distance than the previous turn before resisting the illusion.

Roan repeated the process four more times before mental defense of Black panther broke down.

After eighth attempts, the Black panther did not resist no more. It was already within 500 meters of Roan.

Lucas and others were recuperating from the previous battle. He did not want them to worry so he informed them before rushing to Black panther.

"I'll be back in an hour" Roan said

He rushed straight to where the Black panther was. He did not command it stop but asked it to keep moving.

The distance of 500m did not take him more than a minute, he reached it within a minute.

He kept an eye on other members of team while sprinting. He didn't want them to know that he killed a intermediate beast alone.

He reached the Black panther and commanded it to lay down. He checked his surrounding while clutching a knife in his left hand.

"I wanted the Black panther to lure and kill other beasts with its help but it does not seem possible. Intermediate beasts are very resistant to illusion." Roan sighed

He stabbed his knife into the Black panther's neck without any hesitation.

The knife stabbed halfway into its neck before getting stuck in its metallic skin.

The connection he established with Black panther wavered and was on verge of breaking.

"Shit..." he tried to thrust the knife deep but could not.

He quickly drew another knife from his waist albeit a small one. It was only enough to stab at vitals not for clashes with the beast.

The connection established with Black panther broke down. The beast screamed in pain because of knife stabbed into its neck.

Roan did not waste time, before the Black panther could understand what was happening, he reinforced his leg and kicked the handle of knife halfway stabbed into its neck.

The kick was already full with brute strength. With the power of reinforce added to it, the knife pierced through its neck and came out from other side.

The Black panther finally regained its composure only to loose it again. It could not even scream.

It clawed at Roan as a last futile attempt before its death. Roan used wind path to swiftly dodge the claw before kicking its head brutally.

The strike was vicious, full of strength. The head of Black panther caved in and was about to shatter.

Its body was sent flying and crashed into a tree.
