Chapter 164 - The truth

"Where is Sirzechs? No let me change my question. What happened to Sirzechs?" Everyone's eyes were on Finn. He had become the center of attraction.

Sigh!

Finn sighed wondering how this all started.

After Rias, Mio and Sona arrived at the battlefield, Finn with his shadow army had killed remaining 25, 000 demon army. Finn thought he would finally able to take a breath but then he saw a group of people flying towards him at full speed.

There was Grayfia who had a worried look. Grayfia was told to follow them after she woke up. Venelana, Zeoticus Gremory, peerage members of both Sona and Rias. Zeoticus Gremory especially looked very angry. The anger he was feeling had reached a level that he couldn't even surpass his destruction magic powers.

Zeoticus landed in front Finn. He ignored all the bodies lying on the battlefield. He ignored the shadows that were kneeling behind Finn. Right now Zeoticus had bigger priority which was his son.

Zeoticus took a step and pressed his Aura on Finn and asked in stern voice. "Where is Sirzechs?"

Finn felt as if his body's weight has been increased. Finn had lost his powers so currently even a Satan class power Aura was too much for him.

"What happened to Sirzechs?" Zeoticus roared and asked loudly.

Venelana on the other side looked conflicted with her feelings. Finn had saved the Gremory multiple times so the whole Gremory clan owned Finn. But Finn also was related to the Sirzechs matter.

Finn looked at Grayfia and saw that she was nodding head. 'How the hell did Zeoticus and Venelana found about Sirzechs?' Finn knew that current situation will not allow him to find that answer.

"Father what did you mean? I saw brother before the battle began. But.... Where is he right now?" Rias noticed that her brother wasn't fighting in the battlefield. It was only Finn fighting the whole time.

Zeoticus didn't look at Rias instead he increased the pressure on Finn and said.

"The reason why the Demon Faction dared to attack the Gremory clan is because Sirzechs was poisoned. I don't much about the poison but currently Sirzechs is in coma. One of my secret agents got this news today. This whole time Finn was using one of his weird techniques to replace Sirzechs place." Hearing Zeoticus, Rias immediately became angry.

Rias suddenly remembered all the times when her brother was acting strangely. Like in the dinning table or spending most of his time in the library was definitely suspicious. Rias suddenly appeared beside Finn and grabbed his collars.

"Where is my brother?"

Blood was thicker than water. Rias reaction was natural. Anyone in her current position would have the same reaction.

The age gap between Sirzechs and Rias was in centuries. As devils have very low birth rate and sexual drive, normally it takes few hundred years for a couple to give birth to a child. Venelana became pregnant after almost 3 centuries.

Rias was the little angel that the house of Gremory cherished. Sirzechs has been doting Rias and always has treated her like a princess.

Rias also naturally grew to love her brother very much. So when she heard the news, Rias just couldn't control herself anymore.

"Sirzechs has been poisoned with Heart corrioding Poison." Finn looked at Rias as he continued. "It was the night when I woke up. Sirzechs called me using my teleportation kunai. When I teleported to his location it was already too late. Zolgear had set up a trap which resulted in Sirzechs being poisoned."

The more Rias heard the more angry she became. The same could be said with Zeoticus and Venelana Gremory. Sona tried to look things from a different prospective before jumping into conclusions like Rias and her father.

Because unlike the Gremory who was little too much emotional when it came to family or peerage, Sona was a girl who has been taught to use her head more in these situations.

Slap!

Rias couldn't stop herself from giving Finn a slap on his face. Rias and everyone here knew that Heart Corrioding Poison would kill the victim after one month.

Finn didn't expect Rias would go far as to slap him.

"You knew my brother would die in one month yet you chose to not tell us the truth. What you wanted? You wanted us to find the truth when my brother died."

Grayfia couldn't digest Rias words. Only Grayfia knew what Finn had to go through just to find a cure for m Sirzechs.

"Rias I and Finn thought it would best to keep this a secret. If the news were to spread then enemies like Zolgear would take advantage of that and attack Gremory clan. But don't worry Lord Sirzechs is in his room and we are currently finding a cure for him."

Rias looked at Grayfia asked while shedding tears. "Grayfia you're involved in this too."

Grayfia didn't expect Rias to misunderstand Her and Finn's intentions.

"No Rias..... Enough!

Zeoticus interrupted with a loud roar. Zeoticus glared at both Finn and Grayfia and said in stern tone.

"Leave. From today onwards you two are enemies of Gremory clan. Since you two have done so much for the Gremory, consider leaving this place safely our last form gratitude." Venelana felt Zeoticus was letting emotions control him. She tired to stop Zeoticus but couldn't.

Finn turned to Rias. "Listen to our explanation first. I think you two are acting on your emotions." Even if Finn were to leave the Gremory clan, Grayfia won't able to do it since she called this place home for as long as she could remember.

"Listen to what, to your nonsense and bunch of lies that you and she is going to feed us and make us believe in you. Listen Finn today you have lost all the respect and emotions I had for you. Just fucking leave. You already have bought us enough pain."

"I.... Finn wanted reply back but suddenly he got an emergency call from the village.

'Now what?' Finn felt irritated. 'I have to go back to the village. If the village has called me then something very urgent must have happened. In my current state my clone won't able to deal with the threat.'

Seeing that Finn was not replying and thinking so deeply, the last remaining trust that Rias had for Finn also disappeared.

Rias was now sure that Finn and Grayfia was trying to do something shady to her brother.

Destruction Bullet!

Bang!

While Finn lost in his thoughts a destruction bullet suddenly hit Finn's right chest. Because of the close distance between Rias and Finn, Finn couldn't even saw the attack coming and Grayfia was too late to stop it.

Finn grabbed his right chest as blood flowed out of his right chest. It was then Finn became angry.

"Very good." Finn smiled coldly while holding his wounded chest. Rias, Sona, Mio, Venelana, Zeoticus and everyone felt a chill running down their spine.

"Fin...." Grayfia was forcefully stopped talking when she felt the massive amount killing intent coming out from Finn. Before Finn wasn't countering Zeoticus Aura but now Finn also had unleashed his massive killing intent.

Rias entire body froze due to the immense killing intent she was facing. Rias felt she was standing in front of the God of death. It was not just Rias, even Sona, Mio and peerage members felt killing intent. Zeoticus and Venelana started to sweat and looked at Finn in fear.

While Zeoticus was using his power to pressure Finn, Finn was only using his raw killing intent to suppress everyone. This was the difference between a Monarch and an average Satan rank devil.

Grayfia didn't felt the killing intent pressing her.

"We did everything for your own good. We wanted the balance to remain stable within the factions. I was sure that I could find a cure for Sirzechs. Yesterday I even found the herb which you people considered extinct from the northern lands. We did all this for Sirzechs. Yet you treat us worse than the people who actually poisoned Sirzechs. You know I done. I don't fucking owe you anything. Why the fuck I should take all that insult and shit from you people." Finn then gave one last look at Rias and then teleported behind Grayfia.

When Rias eyes met his, Rias suddenly felt extremely guilty. She felt her heart was being squeezed to death by her guilt. She wanted to open her mouth and say something but the heaviness of her guilt pressed her heart that she couldn't even speak.

Finn held Grayfia's hand and both of them disappeared with the shadow army behind Finn.

After Finn left, all the killing intent also disappeared but no one moved from their place or talked.

Rias, Zeoticus and Venelana were feeling most guilty, ashamed of themselves. The Gremory were considered to never betray its allies yet Rias and Zeoticus just did that. They acted on their emotions and jumped into the conclusion.

Rias slowly looked back at the battlefield which now had more than 50,000 demon faction bodies. The entire battlefield had been painted in red color. Stream of blood of the dead demon soldiers could be seen flowing throughout the battlefield.

The dry eyes of Rias started to swell up once again in tears. Before she was feeling the pain for her brother but now she was feeling the guilt.

"Finn I am s....."
