Clearly, it was not a phone one could purchase from a regular store on the street.

This time he was to go to Japan, and considering the activities he was about to undertake, his identity, and the historical relations between the two countries, Bi Fang felt he needed to submit a request for this mission.

When he made his first request, the other party even misunderstood his intentions, asking if he required armed support, and later explained with difficulty that supplying firearms posed some challenges, and their use might lead to quite severe consequences.

There were, however, many melee weapons readily available for supply, and airdropping them was not out of the question—it just required a heads-up about an hour and a half in advance.
