Rayan parked his car in front of Sue’s office. It was 10 minutes to five till Sue would finish her work. All the way, Rayan was thinking about Janet’s words. At the same time, he knew Sue pretty well.
For the past few weekends, Rayan visited Sue’s house. He spent quite a long time waiting in front of her house, hoping to see her. She rarely left her house during these past weeks. He was lucky to spot her, once or twice, going to her art studio outside her house.
Rayan knew that Sue did not see anyone. He knew that she was not in a good mood, as the next art exhibition was approaching, and she did not prepare herself for it.
Yet, Janet’s words found their way inside Rayan’s head. Or maybe, Rayan missed Sue, so he decided to run away on a weekday to spot Sue, even if this would be from a distance.
At five o’clock, Sue’s colleagues went out. Rayan saw Judy leaving, and he saw few others. He kept searching for Sue, but there was no sign for her.
