Chapter 50

The water was cold, and Joe couldn't see anything, he had to swim forward with his hands out to make sure he didn't smash his face into any rocks. While bumping his head several times and feeling for a way in which to go he felt a sudden piercing feeling on his leg and he was stuck! It felt like the jaws of a wolf holding him in place he kicked at the beasts head to no avail.

He did his best to not open his mouth and drown right then and there, Thankfully Eddy somehow knew what was going on and helped Joe kick off the wolf then escorted him down further into the secret underwater passage.

Eddy was like a fish underwater and lead Joe through the narrow path with only minor scrapes and bruises. It was on the incline somewhere under the water where Joe started to take in water. He had never been a strong swimmer and never really trained his lungs to retain air, the jagged rocks that made up the path didn't help him either.
