Chapter 211

Making his way back to his residence, Jason was just about to open the door when he heard the sound of footsteps coming from the lobby and he had to turn around to take a look at who it was, only for him to see that it was prince Trace who was all by himself.

"I wonder what would make the prince to stay awake at this time of the night without the protection of his guards" said Jason with a smile before bowing.

"It's already late and the palace is one of the safest places to be, only a fool would be so foolish to come hunt me here" reply prince Trace as he returns the smile.

"But still, to be cautious wouldn't hurt beside even the safest place can still prove not to be safe" advises Jason.

"I will keep that in mind next time. Enough with all that, were you able to find what you were looking for"? Asked prince Trace.
