(Lucas pov)
Again, did I just humiliate myself again?, why? Just why do I feel like this, this feeling of being weak when he's in front of me.
I forced myself to looked at the fucker as he disappeared from the corner, the heavy pressure that was holding me also disappeared allowing me to finally to breath normal.
Catching up my breath, I slowly stood up. Anger boiling inside of me, image of that boy Madara stuck in my head.
Standing there still, I recall the conversation I had with my brother a few minutes ago before meeting Madara.
*flashback *
"Getting beaten up by a commoner is very disrespectful to you and our family name, and what worse is that you keep saying he used something to defeated you. Listen Lucas, artifact or not, you were defeated by him because of your arrogance.
I keep telling you evertime, grow stronger and always use your head",
"b..but I'm not the problem here, you never wanted to teach or train me, you're always busy with this and that, do you think I don't want to become strong!!", I accidentally yelled due to my anger.
My brother looked at me dead in the eye, he was a Lance and yet here I am yelling at him, I slowly dropped down my head.
"Nothing is free in this world Lucas, I became a Lance but there is a price to pay for it. Don't wish for a suddenly power ups, you have to work hard in order to become stronger…remember that", said my brother as he started walking away.
*End of flashback *
"you're wrong brother, I will get powerful without working hard like you then I'll show him and you..just you wait", I said to myself as I turned around and walked away.

"so, that fatass used the runes before we could even start the plan?", said a hooded figure that was sitting on a high chair which was surrounded by other four hooded figure.
"y..ye..yes, my lord", answer a young boy who was kneeling a few meters away from the hooded figures. The young boy was wearing school uniform, and not just any school uniforms. He was wearing Xyrus academy uniforms which shows him as a combat mage student.
"I'm very disappointed in you Ravenpor….I gave you one mission and that was to make sure that fatass doesn't activate the runes, but you failed…..now tell me what should I do to you", said the hooded figure that was sitting on the chair.
"No!...I mean pl..please don't punish me, I'll do anything just don't punish me", said Charles who was begging on all four.
"mm, did he survive?".
"huh? Who?".
"the fatass, did he survived?".
"yes..he was sent to the infirmary, I heard they are going to do research on him".
"That fatass was different from the others, we put a lot of runes on him unlike the last one who we put a temporary runes that disappeared after being used. And what worse is that he knows about our whereabouts because you were the one who brought him here...you're gonna have to Kill him".
Those last words from the hooded figure made Charles shocked, he never killed anyone in his whole life, but right now the man in front of him who was sitting on the chair like a king on the throne, wants him to go and kill someone like it's nothing.
It was the fatass's life or his.
"I..I understand, I'll finish him tonight", answered Charles.
"Great, that's why I like you, now remember. Make his death a little fun for me".
"yes, my lord",
"good, you can return to school and prepare yourself for tonight".
Charles stood up with his head still down, he turned around and walked out of the mansion and walked towards his family carriage that was waiting for him outside.
Once inside the carriage, Charles let out a long and a heavy sigh...
'I know they promised us to have more power once they complete their mission, but their works aren't easy, did my family did a good thing to accept their offer?. But judging by the amount of colds and treasures and a those runes, I'm pretty sure they did a right thing…..I'm sorry Marcos'.

"these three students, are the members of DC, and most promising mages" said Director Goodsky who was introducing the three students to the Lances.
Seeing the two Lances looking at them, Claire introduced herself to them.
'mm, nothing…not even a small leak of mana on him or his bond", thought Bairon while looking at Madara. While looking at him, their eyes met, he eyed the boy but the boy eyed back .
'Quiet confidence, for a fool', thought Bairon as he turned to look at Director Goodsky.
' so that's the elf girl who's going to die in the future days', thought Madara while looking at Alea.
(AN: I don't know if ppl will be mad or not but I'm not gonna save her...it was her fate die and Madara is not a hero walking around to save ppl just bc they didn't deserved a death they get. My MC is a DON'T CARE GUY)
"so that's Lucas's brother, a Lance. Now that see him closer, I can sense it. The dense mana around him, seems like I got a long way to go", thought Arthur who was behind Claire.
The Lances finished talking with Director Goodsky and started leaving the office, on the way out, Bairon stopped on the door beside Madara. But then he continue walking.
'I almost forgot he beat the shit out of his little brother', thought Arthur who saw the action that Bairon did.
"Now, why don't you guys take a seat and tell me what you have to report", said Director Goodsky while looking at the trio.

(Madara pov)
Taking a seat, I watched as Arthur and Claire explaining everything they noticed about Marcos and the other student, the weird symbols, increasing in mana and everything else.
All of that time they were talking, I just zoned myself out of their topic, I was thinking about one particular jutsu that will help me in the future before I get my rinnegan.
This jutsu will give me an upper hand even tho it does have it's own disadvantages but I can cover them.
While I was deep in my thoughts, I noticed Arthur's bond was looking at me and Kurama who was on my lap.
'mm, I never use my Sharingan to control mana beasts, I wonder if it will be able to control her', I thought while looking at Sylvie.
Just the thought of doing that made me smirk.
Turning my attention to Director Goodsky, I saw her looking at me with a smile on her face
"what?", I asked in confusion.
"This school will need your help Madara", said Director Goodsky."you guys should go and rest for today, I have a lot of things to do so I want you Claire to arrange everything for the DC tomorrow".
"Yes", answered Claire.
Me, Arthur and Claire stood up and walked out of the office.

I think I'm not going to die from the seal on my heart but from the headaches.
It's one thing after another. What worse is that I can't locate them.
Did they already have control over a big family in this city? That is housing them.
"sigh..what should I do, this country is coming to an end….what do you think I should do Avier?", I asked my bond.
"I think It's time you choose, if you really want them to survive then tell them or at least give them a few hints"
"they won't listen, this kingdom is full of stupid nobles and arrogant kids who think that they are powerful just because they can cast a spell".
This continent is doom.

"well, see you guys tomorrow", said Claire as she walked away leaving me and Arthur.
Not saying a word, Arthur turned around and walked away.
Since it was getting dark and I had nothing to do, I also went to my room.
On the way there, I saw someone walking towards my direction, it was Tess. Her face was showing a worrying expression.
" is something wrong?".
"It's Elder Rinia".
"what happened to her?".
"I called to check up on her today but she didn't pick up so I called grandpa and asked him about Elder Rinia, then he told me that she is in the hospital, he said that they found her fainted inside her house", said Tess while few tears started coming out of her eyes.
Seeing that, I wrapped my arms around her and spoke,
"She'll be fine, I'm sure they will help her. Your Grandpa won't let anything bad happen to her. Crying won't solve anything".
".....you're right", replied Tess while wiping her tears.
'what did that old woman did to make herself faint?....was she ambushed or does it have to do with her magic?',
