I had just finished giving everyone hugs and thanking them for coming to the party that I hadn't even known about. And right about then, there was a knock on the door, but the person that was out there didn't wait for us to answer the door before she came in unannounced.

"OCEAN! MAKAI!" She came running into the living room and threw herself into my arms and pulled Makai into the hug that she was forcing on me. "I made it!"

"Cassie?" I was shocked to see her. "Wow, I didn't know you were coming. Ha ha ha, I just got here myself. This was a shock to me." 

"Yeah, Makai told me that it was a surprise party. I almost didn't make it, but my boyfriend told me that I needed to come here. He said that you would most likely do what you could to make it to something like this for me, so I needed to make sure that I was here for you."

"Boyfriend?" Katie and Alexis latched onto the word the moment that it was out in the open.
