Third Person's POV

The young lad shut the door to his chamber with a quiet sigh, leaning against it for a moment as he let the silence settle around him. The knights had been vigilant, following Alex's orders, and it left him feeling like a caged bird. He pushed off the door and walked over to the small stack of books he had collected earlier in the day, hoping they would offer some distraction from his restless thoughts.

The books ranged from histories of the kingdom to tales of ancient legends, all carefully chosen to keep his mind engaged. He selected one with a familiar title, and settled into the cushioned chair by the window. The sunlight streamed in, casting a warm glow over the pages as he began to read.
