Nafeesa would dread these moments since they were not close. The princess would skip attendance with excuses. However, the child has changed in the past few days since her marriage was announced. She would regularly greet her, even making it on time. The Queen was impressed with the behaviour, but there was a change in her eyes. There was no more light in it. The previous princess was naughty, but they now had a sense of life; it seemed all dark to her.

“Do not worry, your highness, the child had a bad experience; soon, the princess will smile again.” Her attendant said, putting a plate of diced fruit in front of her. “Besides, the princess has been behaving well. She is attending her class.”
