Isolated

Amelia was leading Alexis towards the medical bay to get her cleaned and checked for any foreign viruses. The two of them stopped in front of a door with a "Danger! Stay out" sign on it. 

Amelia turned to look at Alexis and directed her, "We are here. Take a bath and isolate yourself. The doctors will check you for any possible foreign disease. I am sorry that I am doing this to you after all that you have done for us, that also on the very first day of your office. But this will at least keep you out of the limelight for a few days."

Alexis smiled and politely denied the apology from the Colonel, "You don't have to say sorry to me, Colonel. As you said, we all played a part in protecting what is dear to us."

And then in a rather understanding tone, Alexis said, "Colonel, you should leave me and go look after the others. The others need you more than me right now."
