wooyoung was sitting on a sofa in the library, still looking at the floor, even after hours from san's leaving. he was speechless, didn't know how to react to everything. even though he had been ignored for the most part of his life, he genuinely liked san. he didn't want the prince to look at him like that. like he felt bad for wooyoung, like he was a stranger.
after thinking for a while, he stood up, leaving the grand library and heading back to the lounge. it was getting dark outside, dark clouds spreading in the sky, indicating that it might start raining very soon.
he liked the rain, it reminded him of earth, that time when he was sitting alone in the park, water dripping down his face, his clothes wet from hours of sitting in the rain. so, he decided to go outside, he didn't care about getting wet, he liked it.

san was sitting in his chambers when someone knocked on the door. he stood up and opened the door, revealing yeosang who was out of breath for some reason. yeosang walked into the apartment immediately, putting his hands on san's shoulders and looking at him with a serious expression.
"do you have any idea where wooyoung might be?" he looked at the baffled san in front of him. "he's been gone for hours and it's raining and dark outside and-"
"wait, wait. are you saying he might be outside?!" san widened his eyes. "oh no..." he whispered to himself.
"I am." yeosang sighed. "and you were the last one to see him, do you know where he went?" san sighed and closed his eyes in guilt. he had indeed seen him the last, but he just left him at the grand library, all alone. wooyoung didn't even know where everything was and san just left him there, to figure everything on his own.
"is everything okay?" yeosang raised an eyebrow.
"I fucked up." san cursed under his breath. "I left him in the grand library even though he-"
"you left him there even though he doesn't even know where to go?!" yeosang opened his mouth in shock. "oh my god..." he gasped.
"I know, I'll go look for him and-"
"your father is going to be angry." yeosang reminded.
"I know, okay?" san sighed. "I caused this, so I might as well make it right." he added and left his room. yeosang sighed and followed him downstairs. "alright, I'll see you when I come back, with wooyoung."
"okay, be careful out there..." yeosang smiled.
"always am."
