"I didn't tell you about this because of your meeting. You told me yesterday that the meeting was very important...,"

"What meeting could be more important than you huh?" Jackson scolded in a soft tone.

"I know you wouldn't have hesitated to cancel everything just to accompany me to the hospital and that is the very reason why I didn't mention anything to you," Jasmine said as she slowly pulled away from his embrace.

"Also, there is no need to feel bad about not being here yesterday because I had so many people taking care of me. Natasha's grandmothers and aunties even wanted to spend the night here. Can you see how well taken care of that I was?" Jasmine asked playfully.

"Still you should have...,"

"I have missed you a whole lot. I had planned to rush over and kidnap you if you didn't return to me today," Jasmine said as she wrapped her hands around his neck.
