Time was passing too quickly and zagan had to figure out how to go back to his time as soon as possible.

Zagan had constantly been visiting that library and trying to grasp how to use the book but not much was coming out of studying alone. He was not used to reading alone since he always understood better with Leah's help.

Asides from reading, he was perfectly fine on his own. Growing up after the Leo clan was destroyed, Zagan did most things alone and even Wen Xu was worried about Zagan's upbringing and worried that Zagan would not turn out to be dark but that never happened. He was just a young boy who needed some time to himself.

Zagan grabbed his hair in frustration. This is one of the hardest things he has ever done in all his life. Nothing is ever as difficult as reading alone.
